I am a platinum member for priority club and I find this Holiday Inn below par. The ambience is average, perhaps better than the local hotels. The breakfast spread is quite disappointing, variety is very china. Not international food.

99% of the staff dont speak english. The ambience is not welcoming. The location is fine and safe. Food doesnt taste great. On arrival the staff gave me a very basic room inspite of me paying for the superior suite. After lot of talk they gave me the right room. The airconditioning system wasnt working.

This is a very clean hotel with a helpful staff just like any other Holiday Inn. Not all the staff can understand or speak English, but the hotel is in central China after all. I am fairly sure any Chinese who are fluent in English aren't working as maid in a hotel. When I called down to ask where the...

We stayed at this hotel after disembarking from a Yangtze River cruise. It is a modern hotel with typical Holiday Inn amenities. Hoever, the Chinese do not understand the usual service that the name Holiday Inn implies. The service was not good, and if it had been in the US, UK or Australia, we would have complained to the manager...

Holiday Inn has good rooms and nice facilities. No complaints for room or assistance only issue is communication. We have expected reasonable minimum level 3 English speaking staff in a four star hotel. Booked online through IHG website, everything went smooth. On check-in I was asked for deposit for which I was not informed earlier. I tried to request two...

I stayed her for a weekend in October. Staff had limited English. The bathroom shower had mold in it and did not drain. Room seemed poorly cleaned. No correction of problem by the hotel. The breakfast buffet had very limited non Chinese selections. The bacon was slightly cooked, nearly raw. Not much of interest near the hotel. Amenities adequate. I...

The Hotel is a Holiday Inn in Name ...the rooms are good size and good value. No complaints about the rooms at all. Stayed on Executive floor...good value. But their Idea of evening happy hour leaves a lot to be desired. Not much on offer and poor service. Like many big chain hotels in China, they don't understand what servie...

Stayed in this hotel last week for 2 nites - at the end of my 9 days China Trip. Hotel was booked + paid for by my office so i have no idea what the room charges were. Glad to be in an international chain of hotels (would rate this 3.5 stars) in China. No welcome drink - nothing -...

Arrived from the river late afternoon and was shipped to the Hotel, as you would expect it was only slightly different from the usual. Staff fine and breakfast next morning had a good variety available. Strolled down to a street market and later to the city center, amazed at the price of western goods in the stores. We, in comparasion...
