First things first the location is very good. A short walk from the Forbidden city and Tiananmen Square, food street there are few better areas or locations you would want to pick to stay in Beijing. Secondly the rooms are more than adequate the beds were comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean and water pressure was strong and warm,...

The hotel is located immediately adjacent to the Forbidden City and a two minute walk from Tiananmen Square and five minutes from Wangfujing Street shops and restaurants. It consists of a number of buildings in a courtyard setting among mature trees and is quite attractive. Taxi fare is about 120 CNY from Capital. We arrived late and were met by...

We arrived at Days Inn Forbidden City hotel for two nights. The room was very dirty and smelt very bad. We were charged an over prices bond fee on checkin and have yet to received he return payment 2 weeks later with no communication or reply. Not impressed. Also we were charged for the "complimentary' water, we were confused about...

Great location, good breakfast buffet, but downhill from there. Room very small, very run down with stains on carpet, broken lampshades, peeling wallpaper, card key wouldn't work in slot to operate lights/power - had to jam cardboard in. On arrival reception told us (& wrote down) a non existent room number so we were wandering about dragging our cases for...

The location of this hotel is very good. Besides that I did not have the best of experiences. My room was located in a basement. The windowsill was covered with dust and the carpet was worn out to say the least. Not very clean. I also had a few issues: when I asked to order a taxi to go to...

You cannot get more central than this and for a great price! We were a block from the Forbidden City Sights on one side and on the other the busiest street for shopping! Great location that cannot be beat. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet that we had every morning was excellent with choices of...

Our room was situated in a block adjacent to the main hotel. On entering, the thing that struck us was the smell of cigarettes. Our room if anything it was worse. The room with the lights on was so dark I needed a head torch! The carpet was stained and all looked very tired. The following morning we asked for...

The hotel is located very close to the Forbidden City, less than 5 minutes walk. Everything is within reach, the market, shopping mall. Tiananmen Square and the subway station. The hotel rooms require an upgrade so that it can have an appeal.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The location is the only good point. The room was rather old and worn with wallpaper peeling from all corners. I feel housekeeping don't really do much as the surfaces and carpets are pretty dusty. You can only hook 1 device to the wifi so choose wisely.
