Amazing hostel. Although a little hard to find from the train station this hostel is in the ideal location. Theres plenty of restaurant's and street food. Only about a 5min walk to the forbidden city. Nothing was to much for the staff when using there computer to order train tickets for japan the computer broke, the owner then fixed it...

This hostel is great if you want somewhere clean and fun to rest your head at night. There was a lovey bar and restaurant with decent food and drinks, a relaxing place to chill. The hotel is in a great location close to public transport, minutes from shopping, restaurants and 10 minutes walk to Tiananmen Square. Friendly and helpful staff....

Nice place, has a good vibe. We arrived at 3:30am and they managed to get us a room. Staff were so helpful. Wifi is really good. Showers powerful and hot. Quite a walk to the toilet but its ok. Cafe is nice also with a good vibe. Stay in smaller dorm for good sleep

Staff will go above and beyond for you, and the bar/common areas are a great place to meet people. Often nights staff would invite people out for dinner, including peking duck nearby which was one of the best meals I've ever had. Ton of people spend the nights drinking and meeting others, including the staff. The washrooms weren't the cleaness,...

I've stayed at Leo back in 2006, 2014 and I had a good friend working there. Without him, my stay would have sucked. He made this place a great experience for me. And thus made me love the atmosphere, the great drinking, and all. The dorms are gonna be what they are, cool, no problem, The single rooms rock!. Party...

I just returned from Beijing where I stayed at the Leo Courtyard Hostel. Not to be confused with the Leo Hostel in the same neighborhood. First, you have to realize it is a "hostel." There is no luxury here but the atmosphere and location cannot be beat. Many of the staff speak acceptable English and they go to great lengths...

We had two different experiences in Leo Hostel. One we stayed in private rooms. It is acceptable but pretty expensive (Chinese hotels around are cheaper). In this case bathrooms are private also, which is good. Then the dorms... not so good experience. Their aim is to make money, so there are a lot of people. Our dorm were above the...

I stayed one night on layover from Mongolia on my way to Australia. It is close to Tianamen Square, major public transport routes (train and bus), and is close to shopping. The atmosphere is quite lively and 'young', although the wifi wasn't the fastest. I can only knock two things: 1) the staff never showed me where anything was, just...

Very close to Tianamen Square and public transport stations. Clean rooms and very kind staff. But, the mattress are a little hard ! Anyway, it's cheap and safe, taking into consideration that Beijing can be a very expensive city ! I stayed in a two beds room :)

We had an awesome stay here, it was our first hostel we stayed in when we first reached china and the best so far. The atmosphere is really good, it's like a nice little family. The staff helped us out (big time) we got struck on the Great Wall and if it wasn't for the help from Leo staff members...
