We stayed in his Hotel for 5 nights when we visited Beijing. We stayed in a room without windows which felt strange but was very good for getting a good lie-in in the morning, it was hard to work out what time of day it was though. Also, the room smelled very strongly of smoke. The bedding was clean though...

If people can't speak English that's not a problem, but if they don't have helping attitude that's definitely a problem.Staffs here are extremely rude, specially during check out, They don't have co ordination. We booked this hotel for 3 nights. For 2 nights we paid cash on our arrival & 1 night was already paid online. After spending 3 days there, during...

I didn't mind this hotel but it had a number of shortcomings. The wifi was slow as is normal in China, it was a little noisy but above all it is not close to any metro link (don't let google maps fool you it is a long walk). Also you are at the wrong end of the Forbidden City (you...

Restaurant served a nice meal but did not ask us if we would like a drink. The reception area is nice the bar area was...

In my opinion this hotel offers good value for money since the location is excellent and the Chinese breakfast was ok (except on the last day when they didn't refill) It's close to a lot of attractions as well as to public transport. I liked the area in general, lot's of small supermarkets and restaurants. Our rooms was decent in...

Although it is conveniently located in a hutong close to the Forbidden City, any other city sight requires a long walk and metro link, which can be very tiring in Beijing. The hotel is fairly old, rooms are old-fashioned, covered with carpets and stains. WiFi was free, but very slow. Only some members of the staff could speak English. They...

This is down a hutong road. Which means markets and fruits stalls. Taxi knew where it was. The tourist lady could speak english but heard the trips are overpriced. Girl on front desk could speak little but enough to understand. Room was 314. Big room for solo person. Room did smell of tabacco. They don't change bed sheets they just...

Pros: Excellent location. The area has a very cool local feel and it's close to everything. Obviously, the price. Comfortable and clean beds. Cons: The place needs a good scrubbing. The shower, the walls, the rug. No one speaks English, which is okay, but I count it as a con because it just makes things complicated for travelers. The wifi...
