I had been to China several times on business, but this was the first hotel on a holiday with my wife. A good spacious room with free wired internet. There was a minor problem - the previous occupants had left the safe in a way which it could not be used or even close the wardrobe door. However, when reported... More

Stayed here in May2012 a week, then returned after a week touring. We were lucky to have our Chinese daughter-in-law to translate for us to help with booking in as very little English spoken. Our room was lovely and spacious, good shower, comfortable beds sure there were herbs in pillows for relaxation as we slept really well. the staff were... More

The hotel itself is ok. Good room, clean, good breakfast. Not to mention the computer and internet system that is integrated to the TV. Located relatively close to the city, and especially close to The Temple of Heaven. The only setback is lack of English speaking stuff, but when we were there, no big trouble.

I have stayed here a number of times and have found it one of the best hotels in Beijing that I have used. It is tucked away in a back street which makes it nice and quiet but you aren't in the center of a tourist area. That said you are only a 10 minute walk from the busy and... More

We have stayed in four hotels in China and this was the best maintained. Staff was very friendly too. We did not find the location so bad actually. Different from other reviews we found it very close to the Temple of Heavens and not far from the Forbidden city (considering it is Beijing). Also we liked that the hotel was... More

This hotel was nice enough. Booked through wotif.com and it was a mystery hotel so the price was reasonable and we were upgraded to a nicer room because they had over booked. I would recommend keeping your booking print out to show the reception. (just to show you didn't use a travel agent and what sort of room you have... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights and enjoyed our stay. We were in a large room with a free internet connection available directly on the TV. The hotel staff was very friendly although their english was a bit poor. The hotel is located about 15 minutes drive from the city center. Except that it is not really conveniant,... More

I am writing this review at the Peixin - the computer in the room is an excellent bonus! I have just read the previous reviews and would like to comment that this is my 7th hotel in China and the beds are the same firm matress everywhere, so that is a non-issue. There only IS one English language TV channel... More
