I stayed there for 2 nights on my trip. The hotel has a nice counrtyard with fountians and a spacious lobby. Right there in the CBD (the business district) . 2 min walk to subway and Silk market. Great amenities. Slightly old fashioned in design, But overall quite clean.

I stayed at this hotel 5 nights. I do not have the breakfast package but the selections are quite good for Asian style breakfast. The room was ok, great bedding and comfortable. There were few conferences during my stay and it was crowded in the lobby during peak hours. The staff was very helpful, including booking for Great Wall tour...

Had a 2 nights stay at Jianguo Garden hotel. Even though the hotel is old, the amenities are well prepared and maintained. The staffs there are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located next to Dongdan station which is served by Line 1 and Line 5, and it is walkable to Wangfujing street. Tiananmen square is within 20 minutes walking...

Great location, close to the Forbidden City and shopping malls, with great food.. Found the bed uncomfortable, otherwise staff friendly.. The Wifi is extremely slow, as someone else said bring your cable to plug into the wall.

Very UNcomfortable stay. 5 star price for 3 star hotel. Only 1 or 2 of the staff spoke English. The temperature in our room was 28 degrees so they gave us a fan... "only heating available in winter". Disgusting stain on the spare pillow, long dark hairs throughout the bathroom, shower leaked all over the place no matter what you...

Good location next to Dongdan metro stop. Really good breakfast. Not much English spoken by the desk staff, but all staff very friendly and helpful. Pool not easily accessible. Beds large and comfortable.

Good location, good value for money and staff is helpful. Be aware they charge for the fitness center - just bring your goggles and swim cap as the pool is free to use. The WIFI is slooooooooow. Be sure to bring your CAT6 cable to plug into the wall as that is much faster.

Stayed here for first few nights of China trip. The hotel is ok. Good things: - location .....close metro station and also to Beijing Railway Station. Number of dining options within walking distance as well as shopping - helpful staff. Even though English is limited there was always someone with a decent command of English to solve an issue -...

Definitely looks like a five star hotel and the rooms are very clean and comfortable - if completely lacking in personality The location is also good - walking distance from the pedestrian street and near one of the main highways But a number of things were disappointing: Staff (including concierge) lacked basic English Food looked much better than it tasted...

This is an elegant property with a touch of decadence and the air of retro feeling of the nineties, is located in an excellent spot. It is close to Wangfujin shopping street, the Forbidden City and other major tourism sites of the Chinese Capital. The fumes of the house exhumes the opulence of the heroic days of the Chinese opening...
