Starting with something positive - rooms are spacious. There free wi-fi in the hotel rooms. Breafast is satifying needs of non-chineese travelers, except for coffee, there is however a coffee shop nearby. Breakfast room staff is pretty nice and helfull. Their command of English is not impecable but they do their best to serve guests properly. The hotel rooms are...

Fujian Hotel provides clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation for travelers and visitors. The price is also affordable. It is located in a quite convenient location and next to the Bird's Nest building. About 100m of its northern side, there is a subway station. It will take about 20 minutes to Beijing train station and Tian'anmen square.

Relatively clean hotel. Great breakfast, although you could smell the smoke from the card rooms. Nice staff. Fun location near a small shopping center with plenty of local food choices. Walk to park to see seniors dancing and doing Tai Chi

Whilst the rooms are still spacious and clean, the bathroom is very dated and there was some damage in the bath tub which didnt look too good or clean. Furthermore the toilet blocked after one flush, and this is something I heard happens...

She was very helpful and brought me coffee for few days. She seems happy to help. Room is well lit, working take is good. Room also had an air...

Based on the comments below, I had expected there to be wireless Internet in the rooms. There is a *wired* connection but no wireless, except in the public areas on floors 1 and 2. For me with smartphone and Playbook table, this is a show-stopper so I checked out after 1 night. Other negatives: 1) My "no smoking" room clearly...

Asks for non smoking room. they seem to provide an "air conditioner" or air freshener in addition to normal a.c. input. It was fine without odour It depended who was at the front desk as to how nice and friendly they were. One girl, who I saw twice was real sweet. The other two were a bit so-so. Not really...
