Stayed at the St Regis Beijing during a recent weekend trip. Beautiful hotel and the room was excellent. Service was top notch through the front desk and personal butler service (SPG PLAT). Spa was nice. Great breakfast buffet. The Chinese restaurant was just so-so, and I was the only patron. The bar scene was also non-existent if you're looking for...

As a Platinum SPG member most hotels underwhelm me, but not this property. We were upgraded to a suite, had wine and dessert tray waiting in room, staff went above and beyond waiting on us. We stayed just one night as we were on our way to Phuket, but I was very pleased with our stay!

Rooms are large, clean and well appointed but start to show signs of aging. The fitness is great although the equipment could also be upgraded to newer version. Excellent lap pool and lockers, but the location of the lockers in the Spa is a hassle to get to. Breakfast buffet has a good variety, but food quality is rather average....

Apart from the fact that they do not speak english very well, the rooms were quite comfortable and well situated. The bathrooms were spacious but not as clean as one would expect from a St. Regis hotel. The happy hour was good and the food served as well. It is nearby the famous silk market.
