Only a few blocks from Tiananmen Square a classic hotel. Good clean rooms and bathrooms. Excellent breakfast. Only drawback is the lack of English spoken or understood by the waiters. Has an ATM and money exchange machine at the main lobby, very convenient. The B tower is being remodeled

We stayed at the Capital for three nights and enjoyed the stay. It is well located for easy walks to Tianamen Square, New World and Glory Malls, and the Wangfujing shopping areas. When we first checked in, our room had an evident smoking odor. When we asked for another room, one clerk said it was a non-smoking room. When I...

Capital Hotel seems to be a very popular and busy hotel located centrally. The facility showcases Chinese tradition in all its interiors and decors. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is good with lots to choose from. Wifi is very poor ( I was able to connect but could hardly browse during the 2 nights we stayed.

This a great hotel for a short sightseeing visit to Beijing - Tian'anmen Square, The Forbidden City, Quianmen restaurant streets and Wanfujing shopping street are all within a short walking distance. The hotel itself is very impressive - large bedroom and bathroom with toileteries, robe and slippers, and daily bottled water all provided; 3 restaurants on site and a very comfortable...

I stayed here for 3 nights in Beijing. I found the hotel very nice and price was good. There currently is construction going on to add another tower to the hotel. I didn't find the noise disturbing during the night. There was some traffic noise but it didn't keep me from sleeping. Breakfast Buffet was good and had a very...

Great hotel to relax. But, the renovation work is making this impossible to stay. I guess this will be ok after the renovation work is completed. Breakfast buffet is not satisfactory. The spa is really great to relax and the best part of the hotel. It is about 10 min walk to Chongwenmen subway station which is not bad. But,...

Room is spacious but old fashion furnishing. Corridor is dark and smelly. Wifi is weak. But it's clean. Towels and bath robe feels nice and thick though. Lots of variety for the Breakfast buffet. Location is good, about 10 minutes walk to the shopping/tourist place Wangfujing. There's construction Outside the hotel and is noisy even at night.

Spent three nights at this hotel, ok so it's clean and convenient, staff helpful(ish) but the quality of service is very poor for the prices, beer and and G and T= £14 no nibbles and very slow service. We tried a pizza and salad very reasonable £15 but no napkins and the empty plates were still table when we left...

Exterior upgrading of the hotel is in operation until the end of September 2017. Works are in progress 24/7, using pole-drivers all day and NIGHT, making it impossible to sleep even after taking sleeping tablets! The air conditioning in the rooms was unavailable, and it was impossible to open the windows due to the horrendous noise. The beds were extremely...

This hotel was enormous - plenty of facilities including indoor swimming pool and gym - several restaurants - rooms were clean and welcoming - great view from the windows - bonus was that the windows opened. Not always easy to be understood/understanding the staff - but would definitely stay again
