I was with a large group and after the first night we moved from tower B to tower A (which was better). There was no air conditioner and the decor was outdated, but overall it was clean. The staff were not friendly or nice and considering we can’t drink the water they were…
We chose this hotel because it is next to chongwen train station and accessible to place of interest. Room is spacious but dated and the bed is soft. Service is good and check in is seamless. You can easily find food around especially at the hutong which is good.

"Choose a "smoke free" room. While they smell like cleaner it is safer for lungs."
"Standard rooms have no window"

"Choose room that faces the street not one that faces the rooftops (which is noisy when it rains or when it is very windy)."
"Language can be a barrier sometimes as some staff do not understand English"
