A good hotel within the main area of Beijing. However Beijing is so huge! Close to underground and walking distance to shopping centres. One problem was that staff hung up on callers from NZ trying to contact his wife. Not enough English. Big buses cannot get down the road to the hotel.

Out of the way hotel in old section of Beijing. Good air conditioning and comfortable bed in room, but carpet is stained and towels are frayed. Nice walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast okay, but mostly Chinese food. Local Chinese restaurants nearby reasonably priced.

The hotel room isn't bad, it is spacious and comfortable. But it smells funny in the room. The reason I rate this hotel poor is the unhelpful attitudes of the front desk. I asked about a place to have dinner and they said upstairs. I asked about a place outside the hotel and they just frowned at me. We went...

My daughter and I stayed here as part of a tour. We were disappointed in our room. There were carpet stains in our room which distracted from the overall experience. We also found out from fellow travelers that the staff on duty did not speak English which was not helpful since they were trying to book transportation to the airport....

We stayed in the hotel for four nights in July,2015.Our overall impression of the hotel was very poor!Staff unhelpful and couldn't speak English! As it is no longer owned by Best Western I suggest they should remove the signs of Best Western Hotel! breakfast definitely caters for the Chinese visitors, certainly not an international hotel.Staff couldn't understand a request for clean...

We stayed at this hotel because it was recommended by our family tour company. It was the least posh hotel in our tour; yet, it was a typical Best Western hotel which is what it used to be before it became Chinese owned. It had some scary reviews from the past, but the issues appeared to be resolved when we...

We stayed two nights and the hotel was fine for a 3* property. Wifi was poor in the lobby and non-existent in the room. It was necessary to leave the window open at night as the air conditioning was turned off. A common event in China. Breakfast was poor, with the smallest coffee cups ever seen. Plenty of good value...

Interesting area with lots of Chinese shops. Many interesting restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Area safe with lots of police presence. Large shopping malls about 30 minutes walk and a very interesting food Hutong in the main shopping mall area.

Second time staying here. Last time in 2013. I travel with a group of college students, so need to interpret "business" properly. But above reviews are unfair. The place is clean. Is there noticeable sign it is no longer Best Western? Yes. But in non-smoking rooms at least the space is clean, well maintained. Staff are not fluent in English...

Fairly decent hotel in a good location. Grand lobby and we had a good size room on 5th floor somewhat worse for wear overlooking a hutong. Not the best of views. Beds rather on the firm side, but that didn't bother us as we slept like logs the 3nights we stayed there. Carpets worn. Situated in an alley you may...
