We stay there 2 nights, a taxi ( in fact it's a member of the family....) was organised to pick us up from the airport, he charged us 300 yuans (normal rate is 200 yuans) we gave him 100 yuans as a tip!. The last day we had to leave early to catch our plane, so no breakfast even though...

Dear guests, I am so sorry for all the things, but we told you the price of airport transfer in advance. Because we should go to the airport from hotel then come back with you, but the taxi only for one way. I think you should understand this. Your breakfast is included in the room rate, we have no right...

Small managed hotel close to many sites and attractions. Helpful staff and sober but eatable breakfast. Friendly staff who upgraded us from a small tiny room to a split level room. In the middle of Beijing a nice place to stay for exploring the city. The hotel is hidden in a hutong. From to metro stations easy to reach.

This was our first trip to China and we did not want a western hotel experience. Our daughter, who works in Beijing, suggested the Hill Lily Courtyard. It was just what we wanted. Customer service was great - when I had questions prior to arrival, they were answered promptly and easily by staff. We were met at the airport and...

We stayed at the Hill Lily for 5 nights during our recent trip to China. This was by far the worst place we have stayed in during extensive travel through Asia. On arrival we were offered to upgrade to their largest room and we would pay the difference. After declining the offer they then offered us one night in the...

Hi, Dear. I am so sorry for everything in the hotel. Maybe you should choose another bigger one. You know our courtyard has more than 115 years history, so maybe something is not so good, but our hotel is famous of the old courtyard. I will you could see. Wish you come here again. Thank you for the comments.

If you're obsessed with China's history from the ancient imperial era, to the bloody civil war and up to the present socialist regime. If you would like to experience what is like during the 1976 cultural revolution, Hutong Courtyard Hotel can provide a sort of a time capsule for you to take a glimpse of China's rich political-economic and cultural...

This hotel is within walking distance of Tienanmen Square, the Forbidden City and two concert hall/theatres, plus shopping and subway. This saves sightseers a lot of time and effort and probably money, because Beijing is a difficult city to travel around in, due to the heavy traffic. Plus you'll see the authentic hutong neighborhood of old Beijing. However, there are...

There is no better way to learn about the Hutong people and live like a real Beijinger than to stay in the Hutong! Everyday I was walking amongst real Beijingers, buying boazi fresh from the steamer in the morning, shopping at the neighborhood grocery, and eating with the locals at dinner. This hotel is really, really nice for being in...

The hotel has character--a hutong quality of small, nicely decorated rooms with an attractive central countyard. My room had about 2 meters of space on the side of the bed where a small desk was located. There was no space for a clothing closet. The western style bathroom was a comfortable size. The WiFi worked OK with the typical chinese...
