We booked this hotel through ctrip and didn't really had any great expectation. We reached the hotel late night and were really disappointed with the grin welcome we got at front desk. There were 2 guys speaking a little English. They made us to wait till they finish all Chinese speaking guests check-in though they came later than us. Forget...

Stayed 2 nights for business trip. First time in this hotel. Pluses: - best ever location in Beijing (Xidan station is close with 2 stops from Tiananmen Square and 4 stops from Beijing south station); - big rooms. Minuses: - horrible breakfast (100% not suitable for foreigners and not worth 98 RMB for sure (maybe 40-50 RMB would be more...

Well located hotel, just 5mins from Tiananmen square with extensive business services and well organized meeting rooms and banquet service. We had there a typical local business lunch, with tens of dishes flowing to the table throughout the meal (and overflowing the center piece). Everything was very good even if i'm usually not a big fun of North China cuisine....

A nice hotel with a spacious room. Breakfast had a large variety of choice although mostly Chinese cuisine and less of Western. Easy walking distance to shopping areas. Little English spoken by staff but managed ok. No swimming pool. Free wifi in hotel lobby but not in room.

I spent a few days here for business. First the good, As everyone is saying it is a great location. It is clean, and the service is typical of non - western Hotels. It is really better if you speak Mandarin. By that standard it was pretty good. Like lots of things in China, it is not that well put...

this was part of our Gate 1 trip. The hotel was really better than expected. It was close to shopping, close to subway lines. Didn't have a good view, but we were only in the room at night anyway. The area around the hotel was safe and what time we weren't on a bus with Gate 1, we were walking...

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my family (2+2) recently. Agree with most of the travelers' reviews. However, all rooms have bad cigarette smoke odor! And I mean really bad like you are inhaling second hand smoke! Will I stay here again? A definite NO! The cigarette odor is so bad that I developed sore throat after my...

We were told that this hotel was second rate and we would be disappointed. No way. We were thrilled. We were booked with a group and paid next to nothing. Some folks on the tour had inner courtyard rooms on lower floors. We lucked out and got the top - 18th floor over looking the forbidden city. Wow! Floor to...
