The great service is shown in all aspects: friendly reception and staff, clean/comfortable room with attention of details: the towels are soft, shampoo and bath soap are from reputable brands, tea mugs are clean, breakfast has enough choices and good health balance. The location is superb. One can find many good restaurants originated from Beijing or other provinces of China....

I was really surprised with this place, it's in Fangia Hutong but it's tucked in a little area a stones throw from Hot Cat Club and it's really close to all the cool stuff. Great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is cost with excellent English speaking staff. A quaint little reception area with big comfy chairs, the room was...

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff in a central location. Perfectly placed amongst the hutongs and close to the metro. Comfortable room with good facilities. Only slight downside is the lack of a restaurant, but that encourages you to get out and about more than anything!

In the lively fangjia hutong, this hotel is conveniently located near bus and subway stops, and walking distance from the awesome Yonghe Lama Temple. The staff was super kind and friendly and helped me out for a few things such as directions, taxis, various recommendations, etc. The room was absolutely amazing and offered much needed comfort after busy days of...

There is not much to say, This Hotel chain is apart from all other Hotels. I am still not sure if the feeling is like coming home (literally), visiting a friends House, renting a flat in a residence, travelling back in time, or just sleeping well ! It is very special and we would not for anything trade in a...

The location in Beijing is great, hidden away in the old hutongs but not inaccessible, still being easy to get to main roads, restaurants, cafes and hotspots to visit. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the rooms were always lovely to get back to at the end of the day.

There are a lot of old things in the hotel. Old electric light, photos of the past, Old table, Old telephone etc. It feels wonderful. I'm with my girlfriend. It's been a beautiful evening and you have made it all possible with my girlfriend.

The staff are very nice, and really helpful - couldn't fault them at all. The hotel is in a good position 5 minutes walk from the metro station. The bathrooms are very strange, as they have glass walls, and give no privacy, which is really weird, but not a problem for married couples I suppose. They have a problem with...

Most hotels in China are either focused on foreign tourists, or on Chinese guests. In the big hotel chains, you can expect an anonymous yet luxury hotel but totally miss the local atmosphere. In typical Chinese hotels, the staff only speaks Chinese and some hotels will say that they have no rooms available because of their unfamiliarity with foreign guests....
