hotel was clean and comfy, room was spacious. check in and out was relatively easy and no issues. breakfast was included, had a few choices which was good. Location is not in a high tourist area which was fine, as on a tour we were picked up and dropped off to the hotel. Wangfujing street is around a 20min walk...

Stayed Nov 16, staff are friendly .not all speak English, but to be fair I don't speak any Chinese and I was in China. Room are a bit dated could do with new carpets etc, but we were staying on a good deal , get what you pay for. Breakfast was nice Could be better, but did the job.

Stayed here on a Intrepid tour in October Arrived early afternoon, the Staff member on reception spoke very little English, luckily had some Yuan,as the Hotel wanted a deposit for the room key . Hotel situated in a weird area amongst Chinese restaurants and shops down an alley way. Picture above is not the Hotel block that I stayed in....

Stayed here with an Intrepid tour Breakfast was decent Was really frustrating because I booked an extra night via Intrepid at the same hotel so I didn't have to move rooms then the hotel made me move rooms - Not sure if this was Intrepid's fault or the hotels. Decent location, had a lot of trouble getting cabs to go...

This Hotel has an ok-ish location, being a little but not quite too far to walk from/to Wangfujing Road. However we took a Taxi most of the time. Unfortunately it is quite far away from any Metro station so we never used the subway during our 3 days stay. The Wifi is a joke, it doesn't work at all, no...

First of all I will start with positive and negative details about this hotel. A. Positive: i.Location - This hotel is centrally located near the Forbidden City, shops, minimarkets, food shops, and shopping malls. Important: Do not be scared as the entrance to this hotel is kind of weird as it is in a small street with fruit vendors, pharmacies,...

Cheap hotel but you get what you pay for, ok for the price. Room was small, clean but no chair. We faced onto the courtyard which was very quiet. Staff very unhelpful though and had very limited English. Good location with many cheap eats within 1 min walk.

This hotel is situated in a hutong (alleyway) a few minutes walk from the forbidden city. While the alleyway is full of shops and restaurants, it is very narrow and the road surface is very poor (unattractive for taxis). However the hotel is fine and has good parking. Breakfast is nice and situated on the roof with a good view...

We stayed here as part of an intrepid tour and it was a really disappointing end to our lovely tour. Rooms are substandard and dirty. Carpet is well past its used by date and showers... Don't venture around without flip flops! It's location is good but honestly, this place is like a throw back to the 70's! I'd highly recommend...

We stayed here a couple of times as part of a tour, so we didn't get to choose it. The photos are not really what it is the photo on tripadvisor is of the old university opposite the hotel. The staff are quite rude, but quite entertaining in their rude skills. It most defiantly is their hotel that they permit...
