The location was good but the hotel was a bit difficult to find at first. The room was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. This was a good choice to experience some traditional Chinese style.

I don't know if we just went at a bad time or what but they had all the fountains in the courtyard off and it was emitting a horrible sewage smell. The staff didn't speak any English at all, I guess I should have studied more Chinese. The traditional Chinese beds were rock hard. The housekeepers were really nice and...

Reasonable hotel in Hutong area. Great location to walk to main lane about 60 metres away that is always alive with people walking and eating and enjoying themselves. The hotel is not the cleanest and when we arrived the safe was closed so I asked for it to be opened and a maintenance man and the maid managed to open...

Traditional view hotel looks very nice on website. Even cortyard and lobby looks very nice, decorated in old-china style. But rooms are not so nice - old, decrepit and trashy furniture, bad smell, dirty carpet covered with a spots, a lot of dust in a room. The only advantage of this hotel - location in a very heart of Hutong,...

The room is clean but the daily clean not very effective. Also there just a little bit of light what make it perfect for late morning sleeps and very hard to wake up....

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our way to Shanghai. The location is awesome, this next to the bustling walking street of Nanlouguxiang. However the hotel staff was rude and despite booking a window room they allocated us a room without a window. The room was spacious but wasnt clean. The bed was hard as a rock...

First time in China, this hotel served as a comfortable yet strategic residence for exploring central Beijing and beyond. It's the heritage of the Hutong that sells this hotel unique character and location. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants about 2 mins across from Jiaodaokou Street with a 24 hr vendor outside the hotel. Rooms very comfortable and spacious, breakfast...

Very well located inside Hutong area. Nice personnel and ok price ratio for the rooms. This is not a new hotel and you could see that but everything was absolutely clean. As the breakfast was not included in the price we did not have it. And there were no lobby bar for a coffee or other drinks. Two bottles of...
