If you are after a quiet, small hostel than this is the place. There are not many rooms, and during my stay many were empty due to the winter season. The hostel is located down a traditional Beijing 'hutong', offering a glimpse into local life and providing a break from the noise of the city centre. Staff were friendly and...

This hostel - cum - hotel is small and cosy and is located in a traditional Chinese hutong area. It is not too far Xisi MTR station (Exit A) on line 4 but the walk from MTR can be a bit too long especially during winter. The room is nice and we stayed in a family room (upgraded from double...

Tucked down a local Hutong you will find this cheerful friendly Hostel. Less than 10min walk to subway makes it easy to get around the sprawling city that is Beijing. Rooms dorm or doubles, clean, beds very firm. Common Room with Dumpling Party on a Friday, breakfast is served and friends are made over a chat at any time. Helpful...

Small hostel located in a hutong area. Has everything you need and the staff were extremely friendly. Can help you organizing tours and tickets if you need. Rooms were clean and not to crowded and the facilities were just basic but all you need.

Stayed there for 3 nights! We arrived during the night and the staff was still really friendly! The breakfast ist alright, maybe a bit too less. There is a free refill water machine and you can use the computer which has got VPN. If you have any concerns, just ask the staff, he or she will definitely help you! They...

Nice place to stay and an amazing lifestyle to get to know as the hostel is located in a Hutong area. So you can make a check on your first sightseeing point, visiting a Hutong, by just living in one. What a great feeling. The hostel owner checked us in at 3am, so he is very helpful and a very...

The people working here are very friendly and helpfull. If you need anything (directions, tickets, taxi etc.) you'll get all the help you need here. We stayed in double-private-room which is very clean and nice (although a bit pricey). We enjoyed out stay very much!

The hostel staff is very nice and helpful. Further on this hostel is great for meeting other travelers. I think it's been one of the most social hostels I've stayed at so far on my travels. The common rooms are great for relaxing or being social. The showers are good, and the toilets are ok. I had a great time...

This hostel is perfect for those searching for a quiet and relaxed hostel on a central location in Beijing. Because it's hidden in a small and quiet Hutong is has that really genuine relaxed courtyard atmosphere. We took the Great Wall tour to Mutianyu through this hostel which I can recommend. There's no shopping or other tourist traps involved so...

I came here after a pretty mental week long tour to chill out and absolutely loved it. It's nice and quiet and tucked away down a really cool hutong which is way better than the touristy areas around tiananmen! If you're planning on having some big nights out this probably isn't the place for you, but for a really chilled...
