We stayed here for a week as a young family. The hotel locates conveniently for Tsinghua University but it's quite far out from central Beijing. It took us 40 mins ~ 1 hour taxi ride to Tian An Men area, during the peak time it could take more than an hour due to traffic. However, taxi doesn't cost much there,...

TL/DR : do not pick this hotel if you dont speak Chinese. + :The best concierge staff/manager that i ever saw (Thank you Simony and your team). Taking great care of all your requests, good english and spanish. Without him i would have probably ask for a refund and would have changed the hotel. Rooms are very large and clean....

Friendly staff and decent enough rooms. Rooms would be helped by some minor maintenance. For example, my shower was overdue for another caulking. Staff has moderate English skills, but don't expect the fluency you'd get in a tourist area hotel. They do however make up for it in effort. I definitely would stay again for work or if I needed...

Our hosts had booked a business suite for us, and we found it very comfortable, with bedroom and living area spacious and well-separated -- nice bathtub, shower, and toilet off the bedroom plus a second toilet off the living room. Contrary to what other reviews of this hotel say, we did have wifi in our hotel room, perhaps because it's...

The room was very spacious and nice. Yes, the bed is relatively hard but that is the norm in China. Internet is slow (yes there is free wifi in the rooms) but at least it works (subject to Chinese restrictions on accessing certain sites) which I can't say for places I stayed in Spain or out of the cities in...

The room was nice and spacious with convenience to Tsinghua University. Breakfast was passable. Good value for money but don't expect a 5 star western style hotel with fully international standards. I would stay again.

Stayed here recently for a week, as part of a visit to Tsinghua University. It's an adequate business hotel, convenient if you are doing business with Tsinghua or the various high-tech companies in the area. Would not really recommend it if you are visiting as a tourist, as it's far away from most sights. It's conveniently located for work, within...

If you need to stay near Tsinghua University, as I did for work, then your choices are limited. Wenjin is an OK four-star Chinese hotel, but that's equivalent to a two-star joint almost anywhere else. Rooms are adequate, but the bed is plank-like and the furnishings and fittings are all cheap and already fraying. Skip the breakfast - it's dire....

This hotel is conveniently located in the Science District / Silicon City of Beijing. Distance to city centre (Forbidden City) is quite long, so not an ideal tourist hotel. Not many restaurants around - however the Campus of Tsingua Universiy is right behind the hotel and offers 2 nice parks for morning runs. Hotel staff is only partly English speaking...

I was not sure what to expect as this was my first trip to China and this hotel had been recommended by a friend due to its proximity to Tsinghua University. I was very pleased with every aspect. The lobby is impressive and the staff are friendly and helpful. Their English is not great, but there was no problem. The...
