We spent there one night and really had good time with the friendly staff and travelers Cheap drinks are available, clean rooms and huge sharing toilets. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the security service is available on 24 hours bases. Free internet

We initially only meant to stay here a week but ended up staying 2! This place was fantastic and all thanks to Lesley and her staff. Lesley or someone was always around to help (from recommending guesthouses in other cities to how much a taxi should cost) or even just to have a yarn, and as a result we felt...

Stayed here for a weekend in late jan/early feb. Absolutely loved it. Great location, with easy access to places with an awesome Tuk Tuk driver just a phone call away. Beach just around the corner and the nyali international hotel around the corner in which for a small price you are able to dine and swim in their lovely pools....

First, this review is strictly based on our one night of experience at the so-called "private cottage." I have a feeling that the experience would have been different if we had stayed in the main compound. My husband and I paid close to $70 USD for a room for one night. It's an external compound that's outside the main building...

Hi, thank you for your review. Whilst I have greatly considered your comments, please allow me to comment on the points you've raised. The water running through my house is clean salt water - it is NEVER unsafe. My guests, staff and I cook with this water. A beach villa house will always be susceptible to exterior issues due to...

I think it is a great place no matter what you want. You can hang around with other travellers or lay on the beach. Talk to the staff (especially the amazing owner Lesley) and they can tell you all about the surrounding area for trips or tips of any kind. Very, very kind people. Great casual atmosphere.

The hostel is reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly. Its not in the centre of Mombasa - you can walk to the beach (there are a few annoying beach boys there), but its a Tuk-Tuk to the main island of Mombasa or to the shops for groceries (which is no big deal), I haven't stayed in central Mombasa before,...

The place is ok to stay for a couple of days. Beach is pretty close and great to do long walks but there's nothing around. You need a motorbike to do anything but the ride with a driver is ok. IT is very clean and you can buy food in a supermarket and cook yourself which is pretty good. Beds...

Hi, thankyou for your review. Just to let you know and any travelers coming soon to us - The dorm has been under refurbishment and all mattresses have All now been replaced (this week). A lot of people during dry season prefer the rooftop dorm too, this needs to be booked directly however, as we don't do bookings for this...

It was a very memorable trip - Lesley was very warm and welcoming, and the place felt very safe and had a great ambiance. I stayed upstairs in the dormitory- and it was clean space with clean sheets. All the other fellow travelers were great to interact with as well. I would recommend this space for a lot of reason-...

I have been a guest in Nirvana a few times and I have to say, if you're a relaxed traveller who wants to meet nice and interesting people and are not too fussy about little things, this place is perfect for you. The staff are amazing, Leslie is always helpful and the guests are usually interesting characters. Breakfast is always...
