This was the second Porini camp my wife and I stayed at during our January 2015 trip to Kenya. The first camp (Porini Amboseli) was so good that I was afraid that I would be let-down by the Lion Camp. I needn't have worried... Porini...More
Fantastic safari experience at Porini Amboseli, Mara and Lion! Everything was top class.
Totally different than the traditional National Park safaris. Great service and accomodation, very competent and motivated guides, womdeful landscape

Weather was great. No bugs at all. I was actually shocked. Took multiple brands of repellent and never touched any of them. Cool in the AM, but occasionally got very warm in the afternoon, but cool again by Sundowner time.
