We Stayed at Richards Camp for 3 nights, not overly impressed , the food was below average and items were chipped and cracked. The old Victorian Bath Tub needs some attention. No mention of Sundowners. Plus points were, Tents are large and very comfortable and our Guide was very good . We had sole use of the landrover and guide.... More

We have just returned from the most perfect Honeymoon. The first leg of which was spent in Kenya. Having recently seen all the problems on the news in Kenya we did have our concerns, but on the travel agents advice decided to go and were so glad we did - we had the time of our lives! Three nights of... More

We have just arrived home from a two week fly/drive Safari staying at small luxury tented camps in both Kenya and Tanzania. They were all outstanding but the lasting memories will always be of Richards camp. Everything they provide is underpinned by quality and an overwhelming desire to deliver the ulimate experience to their guests and we all felt they... More

For years, we have been going on safaris in east-and South Africa, always opting for the high-end lodges or private tented camps. We have been several times in the Cheli and Peacock lodges ( a.o. Elsa’s and Tortillas) and have recommended your organisation to most of our friends around the world... We were, however, extremely disappointed by our last experience... More

What an amazing place, with amazing people, fantastic food, scenery, animals etc...... Home from home in a tent. Your every need has been anticipated and catered to. If you need something you only have to ask for it once and then it will be there for every after. Tents are great, huge beds, clean.

We arrived at Richards Camp having already stayed at Shompole and Ol Seki Camp , two very luxurious (especially Shompole) places of accomadation. When we arrived at Richards Camp however we were not let down. We were warmley greeted by Vannesa who is a brilliant host and her cute dog Foxy. This camp consists of a ring of tents( very... More

“All are wonderful!”

“Any tent is wonderful. They were working on a new, large, family tent while we were there. It would be perfect for small groups that want to stay together and share a common living area in the tent.”

“All the tents have a great location and private , enough space between each one .”

“All tents are luxurious and even though you are in the wilderness it creates the feeling of warmth and comfort, even to the welcome addition of a hot water bottle put into your bed while you are dining. Which is most welcome on chilly evenings.”

“I was in tent #5 & my son #6 all the tents are spread a part and privately sited in a semi circle under a canopy of trees looking out to the savannah with elephants roaming by. Our tents were wonderful!”
