I hardly know where to begin my positive ravings about this camp. For our party of 5, it represented the ultimate safari experience, a luxurious oasis in the Masai Mara. Upon arrival at the airstrip we were met by our guide, who transported us to the camp, which I understand is the newer "settlement" of Richard's Camp, originally designed as... More

Our family stayed for two nights at Richards and we loved it. We were able to see so many of the Mara's animals and on our last game drive a leopard, what more can you ask for! The guides were really great, and the service was outstanding, breakfast in the bush, drinks by the hippos, and dinner by candle light.... More

Five nights and my fifth visit to this lovely camp (previously with diverse family members). An incredible amount of wildlife highlighted by an exciting view of two leopards, spotted by the laser accurate eyesight of guides Sandera and Andy ; good companions in the Land Rover. Very well looked after by Shawn and Kaila and the members of the camp... More

My son & I spent 3 nights at Richards Camp and were treated by Kiala & Sean as if it was our own place. They were enchanting. Joseph & Sendara were wonderful guides out on the Mara during the day. We recently spend 3 nights at Richard's and had a wonderful time. The tents are very comfortable and the food is excellent. It is some of the best dining we experienced Kenya. Richard's Camp is absolutely 100% the best possible place to stay in the Mara. The hosts (Kayla and Shawn) are lovely - nothing is too much trouble. “Any tent is wonderful. They were working on a new, large, family tent while we were there. It would be perfect for small groups that want to stay together and share a common living area in the tent.”

“All tents are luxurious and even though you are in the wilderness it creates the feeling of warmth and comfort, even to the welcome addition of a hot water bottle put into your bed while you are dining. Which is most welcome on chilly evenings.”
