Had a fantastic experience at the Elephant Pepper Camp - the location was perfect - no fences so animals are RIGHT THERE - one night there were literally lions in camp (do not leave one's tent at night without a Masai guide). The service was wonderful with great attention to detail in all respects including the preparation of the meals... More

Our last camp of our trip to Kenya was here. It was simply wonderful. My friend Fran suffers from awful arthritis and found it difficult to get into the truck. From no where came some magic steps, problem solved! Patrick the manager organised a trip to the local wood merchants and lo and behold after some sawing and hammering they... More

This was the final camp of our holiday and was undoubtedly the best. It was extremely traditional in its furnishings, and made you feel really part of the Mara - especially listening to animal noises at night and finding a lion's paw print outside our tent! The food was excellent and dietary requirements were no problem. Our guide, Samuel, was... More

From a guide with the most amazing eyesight to a luxury (but not OTT) camp providing excellent service, Elephant Pepper delivered what I'd always imagined a safari holiday to be. It did not matter that the camp is in the Mara North Conservancy, 45 minutes' drive from the Mara Game Reserve where most people go. It was in the conservancy... More

I live and work in Kenya and have seen plenty of lodges and camps over the years. Elephant Pepper stands out by a wildlife-studded mile. Not only is it based in the beautiful Mara North conservancy, supporting community-based conservation. The camp itself is exquisite and the staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food is wonderful, the guides knowledgeable... More

Had a fantastic experience here and we're lucky enough to witness the wilderbeast migration crossing the Mara river. Great and luxurious camping accommodation, friendly staff. Loved every minute of it here. Patrick and Sophia couldn't do enough for us and we loved the Masai guiding us to and from our camp.
