Having lived in East Africa for four decades with dozens of bush Safaris the one to Kilima Camp is certainly one of the best we ever undertook! The Camp is uniquely placed on a mountain ridge with a lovely view on the Mara plains. The reception area, bar and restaurant are beautifully furnished. The tents, especially the Deluxe tents, are...

Lovely clean and friendly camp. Tents great with fantastic views, plenty of hot water. Meals good. Only downside we felt was the actual time it took to drive to the park gates and get into the reserve itself - approx 45 mins but there were some animals to see on the way. Also drove through local village so was interesting...

We were on a three month trip around Arica and this was our starting point...and it set a very high standard for others to match. We absolutely loved this place. The aspect was wonderful, and this part of the Mara is a delight - plenty of wildlife to see and not so many tourists to crowd you out. Our guid,...

We had a great few days here earlier this year. The views from camp were amazing. Accommodation and food all great. Most importantly our driver/guide was fantastic. The one piece of negative criticism is that the Barman encouraged us into drinking cocktails each night - on the premise that we were educating and helping him. We were of course willing...

My wife and I wanted to go to the Masai Mara during the migration season (from July to October). We decided to go in mid-August and we started looking at logding options at the Mara... We searched on the Internet for some known brands (Serena, Kempinski, Fairmont etc.), but luckly we saw an add from the Kilima Camp in one...

I had a great stay at Kilima Camp! The staff was amazing, the spa-area mindblowing (wait until you see the view!), great food, tents etc. Great gamedrives, you can do safari from the horseback, balooning etc. I highly recommend Kilima Camp!

wow what a location. We drove from Nairobi. Stayed for 2 nights. Super venue, super location & even better staff. The views are to die for. My only criticism is the road up to it, is poorly maintained, and the trip for the last mile or so was scarey to say the least. Hopefully it will be smoothed out before...

Dear Valued Guest, Thanks so much for your positive feedback, all of us at Kilima Camp greatly appreciate it. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. With regard to the road, along with our neighbours we maintain the road/track leading up to the escapement at the camp and we agree it is bumpy and a little sleep....

If you are looking for a lodge experience, rather than a tented safari experience, this is an excellent option and good value for money. The view is outstanding, over the Masai Mara. The design of the lodge and the tented bedrooms are very Africana and very nicely and professionally done... and extremely comfortable. NB. they have beautiful horses here do...

I don't know where to start, because it was just brilliant. End of August I went alone to the Kilima Camp. I booked the trip very last minute and everything was organised just perfectly. The flight itself was already fantastic and you see a lot from the plane. I was picked up at the airport and after 20 minutes we...
