Excellent service from very friendly staff - nothing too difficult. Many thanks to Lydia and her staff, especially Joseph our Masai guard who kept us safe! Would be very happy to recommend and return sometime in the future.
I cannot say enough good things about Mara Bush Camp. The setting is stunning and very private. The camp is recessed and surrounded by trees with a hippo lake that meanders through but down below so you don't have hippos as tent guests but close enough that they are fun to listen to. We were greeted by Nelson the manager and Wycliffe and immediately felt well taken care of. We arrived later than expected but they graciously let us clean up and had the chef make us a couple of pizzas which we ate in their outdoor picnic area. Meals were all table service and delicious. Our waiter Martin was very accommodating and sweet. The second day we missed our lunch due to lion vs water buffalo drama, but the chef made us a little snack plate with some nuts, chips and sweet Thai chili shrimp and wine. Perfect before dinner. Eduard, our guard and walked us to and from the tent after dark with spear in hand. At night they provided hot water bottles to warm the foot of your bed and in the morning at any time you requested they brought a tray with tea or coffee or hot chocolate along with some cookies and left them just outside the tent door. Better than an alarm wake up. Then breakfast was again served by Martin and off to safari. The tent was well appointed and VERY clean with a great shower. All of your filtered water was in glass carafes decorated with Maasai beadwork. It was pretty and also reduced plastic use. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone. Asante Dana Mara Bush Camp.…
We had a fantastic stay at Mara Bush Camp.My family and I got impressed with so many things over our visit at Mara Bush Camp. Everything was in detail from the warm welcome, the service, cleanliness of the room and a sumptuous meal with special request for the kids. Not forgetting Mr Nelson the camp manager who had some fascinating stories over dinner, making our night stay more memorable. The whole team go above and beyond to cater for tastes/intolerances. We were expertly guided by Simon for the game drives/ safaris,he was very knowledgeable and friendly to us.Many Many thanks to Nelson,Wycliffe,Donald,Chef James,Flavia,Jerom and the entire staff who went beyond their call of duty to offer us the best and we appreciate their professionalism. Perfect location in the middle of Masai Mara National Park! The last day there was a cheetah 200 feet away from the camp's main gate. The service was great and the food was good. On-suite bathroom showers could have used a bit more water pressure, but it was hot and functional.
Just spent the best 7 nights at the Mara bush Camp for the third time.Thank you Nelson and Wycliffe and not to forget Donald and the rest of the staff for making this such another magical experience. The beautiful tents by the river surrounded by the tree’s the sound of the river running as you go to sleep was the best. The staff are very friendly and caring. The food is excellent.Thank you for our special sundowner before we left very special.Highly recommended Mara Bush Camp.See you all next year .Peter and Jody
We spent 3 days in Mara bush camp - a very nice place to stay - but certainly the best was having James as a guide, who always put us in perfect position for fabulous photos. He did a great job - unbelievable - we will come again.
The Mara Bush Camp is the best place I ever stayed. It is beautiful, clean and the most important the people are just lovely. The whole staff is always nice and authentic, I love the place and the people there, espacially Nelson, he is the best. Much love and the best review for the Mara Bush Camp. :) Wish you all the best for the future and I hope I see all again!
This has been one of a kind experience as I visited Mara Bush Camp during the wildebeest migration. I enjoyed the views from my tent, the food with a variety to choose from served by Mr. Peter, the hygiene is excellent, check in and also check out is quite smooth. Special thanks also to Mr. Nelson and Mr. Wycliffe for always making sure I am satisfied. for sure Mara Bush Camp is worth every penny. Highly recommend it and will definitely come back.
I got the opportunity to travel to Mara during the Migration, I stayed at Mara Bush Camp, where I enjoyed every bit. From check-in to the room service, food and the views. Special thanks to Mr. Nelson and Wycliffe and Mr. Peter for the top-notch service. I highly recommend Mara Bush Camp.
It was my second time in Mara Bush Camp, and coming there again was like coming home! I can hardly the beauty and uniqueness of this place, but I try: The accomodations are so very beautiful, the tents are spacy and spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you need and more: As a keen photographer I enjoyed very much the many options for charging. The tents are surrounded by trees and bushes, close to the river, and sitting on the terrace or lying in bed (with a hot water bottle :-)) and listening to the animals around is a magic experience. Although the camp is not fenced, saftey is always taken care of, there is always somebody there to accompany you in the dark if you go out. The staff is so very friendly and caring, this is very exceptional. The food is not good but delicious, and also the breakfast and lunch we took on our game drives were great - always contained fresh fruit juice and many options to choose. Sitting at the fire after dinner gave us the opportunity to reflect the day and exchange with other guests and staff. What made me almost cry was a big surprise the last evening, when Nelson had organized a sun downer in the bush for us, that was so, so lovely! We had so much fun together. This place is not comparable to any other, highly recommended. Thank you so much!…
