In the campsite you can experience African wildlife at close range. Wonderful place, luxury food, great selection of accommodation from standard through to the ultimate luxury. The staff is very helpful, friendly and helpful. Beautiful night and an amazing sunrise over the Masai Mara.

Imagine a quiet, luxury escape on the top of a mountain where you wake up to the sunrise over Maasai Mara as you look out over your balcony... Zebras, giraffes, and other animals are grazing just beside you as you feel the crisp morning air on your face... and for a moment all the worries of the world just wash...

Having the pleasure to visit Mara West a number of times with my groups I am again stunned about the place, the staff yet my friends, and the service. Every group I bring are leaving with tears in their eyes, promising to return. Mara West is a tresure!

This was our first resort on our 14 night African Safari Adventure. We stayed in one of the Chalet's overlooking the Gorge and our Kids stayed in one of the Large Tents. Both rooms where nice and well maintained. Our view from the Chalet is breathtaking. If you can afford it stay in the Chalet, the tents are nice and...

Around 10am we cross the river Mara and we are in Mara West. The thermometre says 28C. We climb along a steep, winding road which takes us to Mara West Camp. We are welcomed by very pretty and cheerful girls at the reception with the windows decorated with stunning animal motifs. Likewise the grounds seem to be well looked after...

This privat owned luxury camp offers safari tents and unique luxury chalets, where I was staying with a large terrace and breathtaking view into the huge valley. Even from the bed the view was grandiose. The interior fits perfectly in the surrounded area, so you really feel like far away from the rest of the world. The services, either for...

The Mara West was a wonderful experience! I was there with my wife and some of her family. We were in one of the chalets facing the the Mara to the east. The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable. There was mosquito netting around our bed but it was not needed since we are at a higher altitude and...

Our group stayed at Mara West Camp for a week in October 2016. We had a chalet, overlooking the Mara Preserve. Top notch hospitality, hot showers, great food, and (fee) transportation wherever we needed to go. Andrew (proprietor) hand-picks his staff, and he focuses on friendliness, attentiveness, and execution. Well-done all around.

Mara West Camp is located on an escarpment that looks over the spectualar expanse of the Mara National Reserve Park. I had the tent at the end of the row in a secluded woody nook. Every morning I was awakened by a symphony of birds under a canopy of beautiful trees. And then greeted by the onlooking baboons who never...

This was our first accommodation on our 10 day safari trip. We were greeted by the manager and big smiles. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in a chalet that was so spacious and comfortable. The nights were a bit cold, but Grace snuck in a hot water bottle in our beds which kept us nice and...
