Jambo House has competitive prices and a good atmosphere. Arnold, the owner, and Adam, his assistant, are extremely helpful and insightful about Lamu town. The breakfast omelette was surprisingly good. We stayed in the downstair room, as everything else was booked, during the Lamu Yoga Festival 2017. Paying a bit extra for window light and good view upstairs is probably...

This small and friendly guesthouse has oodles of rustic charm. It is an amazing place to stay. There's no air-conditioning, but every room has a fan. What makes this place special though is its home from home ambiance with a management that goes out of their way to help.

My girlfriend and I stayed at JamboHouse in early January 2017 and had an absolutely great visit. Owner Arnold (originally from Getmany) is a great host and set us up with a couple of great tours: one of the old town, and a sunset tour that took us to a couple of surrounding villages. JamboHouse's rooms are spartan but very...

My stay here was amazing! The owner of JamboHouse, Arnold, is the most considerate and lovely person, he treats his guests like friends and has a lot of nice pictures of his travels on the walls. The place is very clean, very well located and breakfast is amazing. Full immersion on Lamu life style at a very reasonable price!
