The rooms were clean, comfortable and ideal for the short term stay i had. The shower system could be changed for the better. Don't count of WIFI, very dodgy and doesnt work in "all" areas. Elevator is noisy but it doesn't disturb you from the bedrooms. The food here is great, takes a little time ,but always remember "This is...

Stayed as part of a tour with Intrepid Travel. Good size room. Bed a bit firm. In response to previous posts it appears that all the locks have been renewed. 6 hours free WiFi. Food was good and reasonably priced as was the bar. Staff were friendly and efficient.

We stayed at the Kivi as the start of our Intrepid trip (as a lot of people have from reading other reviews). We didn't experience any of the problems that I had read about but we were also very careful. The hotel is quite old and needs a lot of work to bring it up to a reasonable standard.

A fair bit away from the city centre. Basic hotel - the rooms are decent sized but the infrastructure is pretty old - doors don't close properly or the locks don't work. The saving factor is the pool which is pretty decent and there is a nice area around the pool (shaded trees etc.) for a beer. WiFi is free...

We stayed here on three separate nights as part of an Intrepid tour. Having read the reviews of the place beforehand, I was understandably nervous. My initial impression was whilst it was by no means a good hotel, it wasn't quite as terrible as I was expecting! There seems to be a lot of inconsistency in the hotel, and it...

Part of an Intrepid tour, so we couldn't avoid it (we prefer to stay at the much nicer and cheaper Sentrim Boulevard) but it was worse than the reviews indicated. No towels, no hot water, dirty rooms, insecure locks on the door, very, very noisy lift. Staff not unfriendly but no-one seemed to care. Why does Intrepid stay here? The...

I stayed here twice, before a tour and half way through a tour, the second stay was much better because I knew what to expect. The hotel is basic, the staff are friendly and the wifi is temperamental but enough to let home know I was having fun and safe. Take the stairs, it will be quicker than waiting for...

I only stayed here because it was the starting point for an Intrepid tour, and it would have been okay (basic, but that's fine, I wasn't expecting anything fancy), however, I made the mistake of keeping my money belt in my locked hotel room, inside of my backpack, and someone (very likely a staff member as no sign of break-in)...

I had my bag snatched in this hotel and it very much felt to the police and myself that it was an inside job. There are NO working CTV camera's in this hotel (CTV camera's are a norm) There are NO safes in rooms; and room door locks are from the 1960s .. easy to break into When I went...

I stayed here as part of a group tour with Imaginative Traveller. So the hotel was not my choice. BUt Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly Staff. They were helpful and welcoming. They arranged a trip out for us to visit the Karen Blixen house and museum. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. I had no problems getting to...
