We selected this hotel because of a quick turnaround and proximity to Wilson airport. Our pick up from Kenyatta airport was smooth, room clean and adequate. Hotel restaurant slow and food mediocre but all fine. In morning, however, the driver to Wilson did not show at the time we were informed would be there and front desk although apologetic was unable to mobilize effectively in the slightest and we nearly missed our flight. Weston is on a busy highway across from Wilson airport and challenging to cross on foot. Unnecessary stress. We stored three large bags at Weston (after confirming via email prior to our stay) Upon our return it was discovered that the bags had been released to some unknown individual who did not produce storage tag stubs or numbers or any indication that he had our permission. Again front desk management stories about what had transpired were all over the place and help was not forthcoming. After a lot of pressure it was determined that our bags had been sent with a driver with another completely unrelated group to Masai Mara. Without clean clothes/valuables and remainder of our malaria medication we were distraught. In our case the bags were driven back to Nairobi and delivered very late to our next hotel(fortunately we were still staying in Nairobi and not connecting with another flight). Please THINK TWICE about utilizing ANY service of this hotel. We were very lucky this ended ok. Weston Bag storage is NOT secure and airport transfers are NOT reliable.…
Never used Weston Hotel before, was pleasantly surprised with the elegance, great room and friendly and proactive staff at the hotel. Maureen and Caroline stood out for me - you are doing a great job as the fave of that hotel. Kudos
The 5 stars is for the fantastic staff at this hotel. They are super efficient, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. From Festus in the Safari bar to Milly at reception, they were all wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic stay. Lorraine and Neil room B401.
We spent a night at Weston Hotel before an early morning flight from Wilson airport, the hotel provides a shuttle service to Wilson airport that was very convenient , the Hotel was very nice and the staff professional and friendly, room was good and clean and everything worked. The food was good and tasty as well. When paying our bill in Kenya Shillings the Hotel used a exchange rate of Ksh 100 to one USD , about 10% less than the real exchange rate, if you have a big bill then this difference starts to adds up, maybe consider using a more competitive exchange rate ? otherwise we enjoyed our stay
The hotel was very good before COVID and is still as good. The number of staff have come down but the quality of service is still high. The focus on use of sanitizers is quite pronounced here and the staff are quite careful in dealing with the guests.
You will not regret staying at this hotel. The staff provides high quality and personalized customer service that will enhance your visit to Nairobi, Kenya. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and rival any hotel you have ever visited in terms of quality and amentities offered. You will not have to break the bank to stay here, either, as it is competitively priced.
Located opposite Wilson Airport and less five minutes to Nairobi National Park and animal orphanage. Comfortable, cozy and specious rooms, All meals were phenomenal Fast internet. Friendly staff, who made my stay enjoyable. Will definitely go back.
Our team of thirty six spent fourteen days here Jan 14-28. This hotel exceeded our expectations for service, food, cleanliness, comfort, care and lovingly making us feel at home. Arriving very late at night, the reception desk provided quick check in so members could get to sleep. The carpeted rooms are spacious with air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms have a large shower and amenities provided including hair dryer. Meals were varied and delicious. The Chef and his crew make excellent entries and the wait staff was very attentive.
The Weston is a very nice place to stay in Nairobi. The staff were lovely and helpful, the breakfast buffet offered a huge number of options, the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel feels safe and welcoming, and it was convenient to Wilson airport for our transfer to the Masai Mara. The drive from the Weston to Nairobi attractions (elephant orphanage, giraffe center, Blixen estate, Kazuri bed factory) wasn't bad (although we left at 10am, after morning rush hour). It's a solid choice for time in Nairobi.
My drive to the hotel from the airport was quite fast.Check in was smooth and the rooms were spacious and in good shape. The staff were friendly especially the guy who showed us to our rooms. They could do better on the quality of food served but an otherwise pleasant stay
