The Karen Inn is a delightful haven in Nairobi. Excellent service and facilities and so helpful. We loved sitting in the garden with a Tusker. If you want a home from home experience this is the place and not expensive. The driver they provided was quite excellent and it is close to the Nairobi Game Park and the elephant orphanage and the giraffe sanctuary.

Room Tip: Nairobi traffic can be very congested. Allow plenty of time if you need to somewhere at peak.

We spent one night in the hotel. Excellent location of this hotel in a quiet and safe area of Karen in Nairobi. The room was well equipped and beds were comfortable. The staff and the owner are friendly and very effective. We had a good breakfast in the beautiful and relaxing garden of the hotel. Altogether, I recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for over three weeks on a work trip. The hotel is tucked away just off the main road and is very nice and quiet. It has a beautiful garden. The food is really delicious, and the hotel has a full espresso machine; I recommend the cappuccinos! I had to self-isolate here during the trip, and the staff were so good as to bring food to my room every day and to call me frequently just to check how I was doing. Honestly, staying here is a bit like being in a home away from home. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much.

Location - perfect Service - OK nothing special Breakfast - OK nothing special Room - crap! We had a "deluxe room" 207 which was so basic. Nothing deluxe about it. At all. The room was very dark cos there's a construction site at the back. One of the nights we could hardly sleep cos of some funny noise that was either coming from the hotel or the construction site. Our sink was blocked but it was fixed when we reported it. Overall, nothing special. Wouldn't book again.

Stayed here as part of a Voluntours trip. Staff were great, professional and friendly. Had wifi problems in my room and they fixed it immediately and kept checking to make sure it worked. Could not fault the service. Tv are a little small and no AC but other than that good value for money. African dishes in restaraunt are great!

I stayed for one night after arriving from the UK on the BA flight with my son and my niece. We had booked 3 standard single rooms. I was upgraded to a superior room on arrival. The staff were very welcoming and helpful which was especially good after the long flight. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. The showers were hot and worked well and the inclusive buffet breakfast was extensive - fruit, yogurt, fruit juice, cereals, eggs, sausage, beans, toast, etc. I would definitely stay here again. The only challenge we had was that 2 of the rooms were in the eaves of the property which meant you needed to duck to avoid hitting your head!

This was our third time round and we loved the place. The service. The ambience. The staff are very friendly. The food was amazing and plenty. The grounds are beautiful and the kids had space to run around and play. It’s cozy and family friendly. We felt like we were home away from home.
