Spent one night in at this extraordinary place and can recommend it to anyone who wants an exciting and at the same time relaxing stay. We arrived in the evening and were welcomed by a lit fire, guarded by three beautiful, calm and quiet dogs. The delicious dinner was enjoyed by the fire while enjoying the included drinks before heading...

My husband and I stayed at the Ngong house for 1 night and were blown away by our tree house (#7), by the beauty of the location, by the service and food. We stayed on half-board basis and the dinner was fantastic - the four course meal, with nice wine, by the fireplace on a cool Nairobi night, it was...

It is difficult to find the words to do justice to this truly unique property. The hospitality, iconic tree houses, understated chic, peace and tranquility are a rare find - especially so close to the mayhem of an African city like Nairobi. Not recommended for those who like the predictability of a corporate hotel but for the discerning traveller who...

An overnight at the Ngong House en route to safari. Arrived around 9:00 PM and greeted by the staff. Paul (manager/owner?) offered us a dinner. The food was mediocre and a bit strange. We were shown to our tree houses (wife and I in one, two teenage sons in another). After a day's travel from Europe we were anxious to...

A true experience of luxury rustic living. The tree houses are a visual feast and you do feel as if you are alone in the bush despite being in a developed suburb. Excellent and detailed service with charming touches. Being from a city, it can feel a bit too "log cabin" isolated if alone and rattling around the tree house...

My husband and I headed out to Ngong House for a mid-week get-away from Nairobi. Driving the long way around made us feel like we were heading way out of town and the view from treehouse 1 confirmed the illusion. All we saw from our balcony was the Ngong Hills. The rome, the food and the service was amazing. They...

We've stayed one night during our honeymoon at the Ngong House and wished we could have stayed a bit longer. It's like coming home. We were greated with a cold drink which we enjoyed in the garden whilst one of the staff checked us in and asked us we're we wanted to have our lunch. We opted for the beautiful...

However, dinning at Ngong House turned out to be a “mysterious” event, to say the least. Initially, several attempts to book a table failed as no one picked up the phone. Then, arriving at the hotel was a stressful adventure itself. The GPS could not find the way, and luckily the hotel staff was kind enough to rescue us. We...

Never really thought a hotel in Nairobi could feel so special – this place is just amazing, in every sense. The accommodation is fantastic, the food is amazing, and the staff are just lovely...polite and attentive but never intrusive. Their hospitality felt truly genuine. 3 of us spent the night in the ‘log cabin’ which is so large, when we...
