When a Kenyan Airline flight from Nairobi to London was delayed until the next morning, we were bused to the Nairobi Safari Club for the night. Although off a main street, it’s quite a distance from the airport and abuts an industrial area. The lobby was fine and the staff handled the busload of displaced passengers in a short period...

The hotel is extremely dated. Everything in the rooms is old and the entire hotel needs a major overhaul. The rooms are all suites and are hence spacious which is the only things they have going for them besides their location. I'm addition the price wasn't a lot cheaper than some of the other far superior hotels in Nairobi. We...

TheNnairobi Safari Club is an excellent place for meetings as you wind down the evening. Has a simple but well done snack menu. You can also enjoy a massage and steaming at the health club to enhance relaxation after meetings. A health drink is in the house after the spa to crown the evening

This hotel is promoted as one of the better hotels in Nairobi, which it probably was at some point, but it is very run down now. The rooms are large, but the furnishings, including the carpet and curtains, are old and dingy and need replacing. The sheets and bathroom, however, were clean. We were on the 11th floor and still...

At first glance, the Hotel looks great, but it is quite run down and in need of refurbishment. The carpets are stained and burnt, the furniture chipped/marked, etc. The biggest plus points are the large rooms, the heated pool, gym and the great staff. The food in the Safari restaurant was bad. The rates are VERY high...

Good hotel in the centre of town. Large clean, comfortable rooms. Wired internet (wireless in the lobby), heated outdoor pool, decent gym and quite good food. One of the best hotels I've visited in Africa. Not a boutique hotel, but not as bland as some of the chains of corporate offerings. Staff were very helpful, as well as very smiley.

I appreciate that all the rooms are suites, but the interior definitely needs a complete overhaul. I don't think the rooms have been refurbished since the 70s. The hotel now seems to cater primarily to mainland Chinese tourists, Staff were very friendly, especially at the restaurant. There is no wireless in the rooms, so Mac users, remember to bring your...

Stayed here one night! It was a breath of fresh air. Staff were very professional, suites were a bit old but well kept and clean and services were punctual. The choices at breakfast were adequate but it always makes a huge difference when the staff are helpful and friendly. I would recommend is hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing...

Yes, It a nice hotel were you can be a little bit nostalgic about the 70. I move from the Meridain to the Safari Club, but nothing compare including the price too. Everything is nice and good here. Room are very large with a living room, fitness and pool are great. Staff is very nice and the overall service is...

This is a hotel that has seen many years. It feels like a family house. Things have aged... but they still work. The food is nice, the lift is fast and the rooms are all suites.
