I loved this little hotel on the edge of Nairobi National Park. It has a friendly, comfortable atmosphere; rooms with big beds, phone, wi-fi, tv and large en suite shower rooms - all the essentials for modern life, without the unnecessary frills. It is a pretty group of buildings at the end of a long, tree-shaded private lane off a...

My husband and I spent 3 nights here prior to our safari. I liked the location, which was a quick uber ride away from nearby attractions yet felt like you were in the countryside. The staff was very kind and responsive to emails prior to our arrival. We stayed in a standard double room and it was very small, which...

We had one night at Hotel Troy between flights from Tanzania back to the USA. The airport pick up was good. The check-in was quick. The rooms were large (we had a two room suite with a kitchen/living area.) The price was good for what we got. It was a quiet and safe area. The rooms were not squeaky clean,...

I stayed at Hotel Troy off and on for a year due to work travel. The family that runs the hotel took very good care of me and the staff were lovely and amazing. It is one of Nairobi's best kept secrets. They have about eight cottages available for long term stays. Highly recommend.

While our rooms were quite simple and the hot water a bit persnickety (ask them how to use it if you aren't instructed), they were more than adequate. The buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful although they don't always open promptly which worried us as we were being picked up there to start a safari trip. However, our driver arrived...

A nicely situated, quiet place that offers a convenient overnight before flying back home. However, depending on the traffic you may need extra time to get to the airport. Rooms or bungalows are adequate but the food, though served in the beautiful garden is just no good.

Hotel Troy is located in a quiet location on lovely grounds. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The room was quite small, but perfectly adequate. The inclusive breakfast was very nice and even included eggs cooked to your liking. The value for the price is excellent. Enjoy the sounds of birds and animals overnight, but don't be alarmed by...

We have been going to Hotel Troy for several years now,and have always enjoyed our stay there. This yer, ther are 10 new cottages that are self catering if you wish. Each cottage is different, but they all share the one appealing trait, and that is the spaciousness of the cottages. Some of the cottages have Jacuzzis in them. The resturant is...

We stayed here for 3 nights in November 2016. The rooms are basic which was expected, mosquito nets were perfectly good. The main issue we found was that the walls are paper thin and we were woken up every hour of the night from rooms upstairs slamming doors, talking, yelling and just overall walking around. The service is okay but...

This hotel was booked by a local travel agency. We came from a very nice hotel around amboseli park and we stayed the last night here. The Cleanliness is not an attribute here. (actually they gave you flip flops for taking you a shower)
