Great spot! Clean, safe, friendly staff. Nice facilities. A bit overpriced and the Johari breakfast team needs training. Difficult to get their attention so struggle to get coffee. Gym is super and room service great. I do recommend it for a stay
I've long learned to hope for quiet when I come to African cities, and one of my challenges has been to find a good hotel where sleep hygiene is honored. While that may seem less important than food, for me it's THE top priority. Without rest I am not going to be functional. That said, the Boma wasn't just that. The rooms are very large, spacious and generous, including a fridge for your own water and food as needed. The view was wonderful and people bent over backwards when I had an internet issue my second night. A move to a different room and problem solved. The breakfast buffet is a little too generous, meaning that you have to show some discipline when faced with so many choices. I had room service and the salmon was out of this world, done perfectly. All the staff were very eager to help, and people bent over backwards to be of service. If there was a small issue, I could call it in, someone was there to help in minutes, and always, the front desk would call to make sure that everything was taken care of. I've been in pleny of places where the first call never gets answered, so to have the desk make sure you are satisfied is a real commitment and very much appreciated. This is the third hotel I've tried in Nairobi and it will be my preferred hotel for future visits.…
My first choice when staying in Nairobi, for hotel and conference facilities. The team and their service levels are excellent, clean friendly and I will return again in May. Hotel rooms are clean and spacious, all you will ever need if not in the the will do their best to get you what you desire. Chef Alex makes a great Pizza and he and the other chef's will always try to offer something slightly different if you ask. Try it stay at The Boma and by staying you are also supporting Kenya Red Cross Society!
My stay at the Boma hotel was wonderful. The room was spacious and items replenished on time. I would highly recommend this great place with exceptional staff to friends and family. One thing to note, the bath tab in my room was kind of small. I can not speak of other rooms. Keep it up!!! Tom
Very nice ambience and good hotel staff. The hotel location is also convenient for people residing within the vicinity of the city. Good food and the hotel is well taken care of in line with the Covid-19 protocols.
Great location, friendly staff, big rooms, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great and served quick and efficiently. Covid protocols are strictly observed. Great room service and the menu selection is satisfatory. This will be my stay when next in Nairobi.
The stay was very good from all aspects except the driver service. This was expensive and we had an unpleasant incident whereby the 1 driver tried to get us to pay an extra US$30 to drop our guest off 2km from the hotel. This after we had paid US$ 150.00 for the day including airport drop off ? The driver was insisting in the payment. We spoke to reception and it was then agreed by a manager not to charge us. It left a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth.
Fanrastic hotel. Lovely staff. Nice pool and area. Great breakfast and food. Brilliant security. Lovely rooms and facilities . Special mention to Esther on reception...What a lovely girl and so friendly and helpful and efficient and professional. Also to my room cleaner Boniface...couldn't meet a nicer man and he did such brilliant job of making our room spotless and replenished. Stayed 9 days 9 till 17th November.
The Customer Service was SUPERB! I felt like a VIP :-)....The food was scrumptious, their freshly baked buns are to die for! However, the rooms need to be Zhuzhed up to give it a fresh/bright ambience. The towels were a bit worn out too. i will definitely come back again and I highly recommend it.
Exceptional service brings us back! The BOMA is our top pick in Nairobi. Fantastic customer focus (all staff levels), a beautiful environment, and delicious food. The staff know us by name and we consider the hotel our Nairobi home. Give it a try!
