Sarova Panafric garners acclaim for its attentive service that guests describe as both warm and professional, greatly enriching their visit. The hotel's rooms are a highlight, celebrated for their cleanliness and modern comforts, while the extensive amenities, including a spa and diverse dining options, receive consistent praise. This hotel epitomizes luxury in Nairobi. The staff was incredibly helpful, handling our luggage with care upon arrival and promptly upgrading my parents, who have mobility issues, to an accessible room. The restaurant at the hotel was exceptional. The staff graciously kept the restaurant open late for us, despite our late arrival, and the food was exquisite.

During our three-night stay, we enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and were consistently impressed by the attentive service. One staff member who particularly stood out was a gentleman named Safari. His excellent customer service, jovial demeanor, and spot-on food recommendations made our dining experiences truly memorable.

The hotel also boasts excellent amenities, including a gym, spa, and pool. The pool bar and lunch area were particularly helpful as we recovered from jet lag.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nairobi; it will significantly enhance your stay.

The Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi was an experience I won’t forget. First, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds sleep comfortably. Also, the cleanliness of the room was exceptional. My family used room service on several occasions and we were extremely happy with the service we received.

During our stay the main restaurant was closed for renovation but the dining area that was set up in the pool area was fantastic with beautiful scenery of lovely green plants and food stations throughout. Kelvin, the best dining attendant ever, made our dining experiences joyful. Ask him to make you a Dawa. We didn’t miss the restaurant being closed at all.

If you stay at the Sarova please make sure you visit the spa. You will not regret it. The spa is so beautifully color-coordinated that you will feel like you have been transported to a tropical paradise when you walk in. For a very reasonable price Shelia gave me the best massage I’ve ever had.

Benson was very attentive to my family’s needs causing my grandson became fond of all the attention. The entire staff was wonderful. I will definitely stay at the Sarova during my next trip to Nairobi.

We stayed two separate times as part of a nat geo safari tour. 3 nights on the front end and 1 night at the completion of the safari. We had a very nice room on both stays and ate in the hotel restaurant several times including breakfast and dinner. The staff was very good in all aspects of our stay. The hotel offered to arrange day tours for us but we had been to Nairobi previously and opted to relax at the hotel prior to departing on the safari.

For one night we had booked standard rooms: 1 double room, 1 double room, which mock each description: The DZ had max. 14 sqm, the bathroom was a wet room, when using the toilet you could shower at the same time! The hotel restaurant is nicely decorated, but drafty due to several open doors and very uncomfortable due to loud music. Breakfast as buffet, coffee/tea found successfully after long search. Staff overwhelmed and hectic (totally un-African). One gets the impression that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Dinner menu is great, the food itself can only be said that the hunger forces it in, truly not worthy for a large hotel.

I stayed at this hotel in Nairobi for five days while attending a workshop. The central location is fantastic, making it easy to get around. However, the hotel has two distinct sections: one newer and modern, the other older and less updated. Value for money is good for the modern rooms, and the difference between the two room types was significant, especially in the bathrooms. We spent one night in a modern room on our last night since a friend joined and we got a triple room in the new section.

The food was decent but lacked variety — having similar meals each day made it a bit repetitive. The staff were cooperative, although not the friendliest. We arrived quite early, and while there was an issue with our check-in, they managed to arrange an early room, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but the location and cleanliness a plus.

The PanAfric has been there a long time, but the Sarova management have ensured that it is kept right up to date with room refurbs and plenty of modern touches. The artwork and sculptures in the foyer are one example, and the fresh flower displays were amazing! Right in the heart of the city, it is a quiet escape and we were happy with every aspect of our stay. Huge rooms, modern and well equipped. Lovely pool. a slight odd lift system that requires you to pre-select your floor, but we mastered it after 2 days!

On the downside, we were only given one key card per room, but you need a key to use the lifts, enter the floor landings and (of course) enter the room. So why not issue two keycards as standard?

And on a second point, we booked via booking.com and the USD price that was quoted was then changed to Kenya Shillings and we had to add about $5 per room per night. It never goes down well when you think you've paid in full but then get a top-up charge upon check-out. If the hotel quotes in a particular currency via its booking partners, then it should honour that price and not play games with exchange rates. Other than that, we had a great stay but all too short.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights prior to starting a safari trip. The hotel is spacious, large well equipped clean rooms and good facilities. The beds were comfy. The hospitality in both restaurants was very good. The staff couldn't do enough to help. The food in the indoor restaurant in particular was very good and of the 5 hotels we stayed in this trip, probably the best. We used the 20m pool, which we had to ourselves and relaxing around it was very quiet. I used the gym which compares to many city hotels I've stayed in, was very well equipped with life fitness equipment. We also used the spa for treatments which were reasonably priced and good. The only improvement would be for the treatment to be explained at each stage perhaps. I wouldn't recommend walking from the hotel as although I'm used to travelling in some rough areas, this didn't feel safe. However, to get an Uber to the KICC cost only 99 pence.

Our family of four stayed at this beautiful and modern hotel in the Upper Hill neighborhood on three separate occasions while vacationing in Kenya and Tanzania. The facility is quiet, clean, welcoming, secure, tastefully designed and offers a very nice restaurant (The Flametree), gym and outdoor swimming pool. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable and ample in size, the hot water pressure was good and housekeeping very thorough. In addition, the wi-fi worked well. The laundry service was excellent. However, our stays were considerably enriched by the incredible staff who were professional, thoughtful and eager to assist whenever we asked. In addition, the hotel has a small gift shop with high quality East African crafts from beaded ware to leather bags and journals run by the very competent Grace. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Nairobi.

The Sarova Panafric is my favorite hotel; not only in Nairobi, but in all of Africa. The Panafric has THE BEST customer service of any hotel I have stayed in. Our NGO has worked with Panafric many times in the past and every time is better than the last. Special shout outs to Duncan and Lucy for making all of our reservations and conferences run smoothly; Sheila is the very best massage therapist in the world as far as I am concerned and if you ever have the pleasure to work with Kelvin…you will know true luxury and kindness. Honestly, every single person I came into contact with at Panafric was courteous and lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - work or pleasure - if you value customer service, delicious food, attention to detail and true kindness. I already miss being there.

We spent three night's at the Savora Panafric hotel prior to the commencement of our Safari. This was our first experience of Kenyan hospitality and it didn't disappoint and we were very well looked after by all the staff.
We particularly enjoyed the lovely pool area which was perfect for pre safari relaxation.
We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the very pleasant flame tree restaurant.
Breakfast was buffet service with an excellent selection of choices and very attentive waiters who made sure or coffee cups were kept refilled.
It is not particularly easy to walk to anywhere from this hotel, however, the taxi services from the hotel are excellent and we took a cab to the Kenyan National Museum and the driver waited for us all at a very reasonable cost.
Our room was clean and comfortable and we were well rested by the time we started our safari adventure.
