We celebrated our Anniversary at Giraffe Manor. The staff were very nice and the experience was amazing. The food is delicious and plentiful. It took us 2 year reservation to book the Betty room and it's beautiful and romantic. Only complaints I have is they brought out a birthday cake to my husband and sang him happy birthday when actually we were celebrating our Anniversary. I noted this to the hotel in person and in emails before the trip. Due to the election, the Giraffe Center was closed and we were not notified this when we checked in. But luckily we got to visit after breakfast the following day. They are very strict. We arrived at 11:30am, check in is at noon. They don't allow guests to hangout at the property prior to check in. 1 night stay is enough if you maximize your stay from 12 noon check in and 10am check out the following day.…
We waited years for this trip and it did not disappoint. The time with the giraffes was amazing. The staff are fantastic! The manor is gorgeous and feeding the giraffes, with their heads in our bedroom window in the morning (before we even got dressed) was incredible! The weather was also quite perfect in May and the bathroom in Lynn's room is beautiful. Highly recommend this experience if you like animals.
Fantastic holiday, top notch, all staff and hotel including setting were superb. Highly recommended. Was our first post covid pandemic holiday and well worth the wait. We combined this trip with Sala Camp safari, also brilliant.
We spent 2 nights here in the Daisy Room, which was compact & bijou, on the first floor. It has a balcony allowing early morning access to feed the giraffes. Food here is excellent. Lunch and dinner are set menus although alternatives were offered if required. Breakfast with the giraffes is amazing and well worth the early rise. Afternoon tea was served on the terrace each day at 5pm when the giraffes appeared once again to be fed. Caroline and Jackson, our butlers, were excellent - always on hand to guide us in how best to feed each giraffe, tell us a little about their temperaments and behaviour and ensure our safety. They also ensured we had the best photo and video experiences. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and more than willing to take photos. Giraffe Manor is expensive but is such a unique experience. Not to be missed! Highly recommended.…
We waited over 5 years for our stay at Giraffe Manor due to COVID but it was worth every second of the wait. The staff were phenomenal, the interaction with the giraffes was just a once in a life time experience. Would recommend everyone to go to Giraffe Manor!!!!
We recently stayed at Giraffe Manor and had an excellent time! Staff is attentive and handle guests and giraffes very well. Room was comfortable and spacious. We had also booked the Orchid House dinner which was cozy and private. The food was excellent but wines were just ok. The spa was also great and masseuses' are pros. The only issue we experienced was during our massage, children were yelling at the pool, which is adjacent to treatment rooms, which messes with the tranquility.
We had an incredible stay at the Giraffe Manor. We stayed for one night during the end of our honeymoon. The service was top notch, the food was delicious and they had wonderful accommodations. We would definitely recommend checking this out!
We just left Giraffe manor and it was wonderful. Ask for Peter, he will give you the best spots for photos and goes above and beyond! Tony was also the best host! Very polite and social. You must go!!
It was amazing and we are already planning to go back as soon as we can! We loved the giraffes and the pumbas. The couples massage was very relaxing. We feel like we didn’t have enough time to enjoy everything that they had to offer!
Our visit to Giraffe Manor was above and beyond our expectations. Specifically to the folks that might be concerned this site is just for "influencers" and taking pictures, I can assure you that you don't need to worry. Yes, there are great opportunities for photos (and the team is so kind and helpful to make sure to snap a good pic) but it is SO much more. You only need to spend one night but I recommend getting there as soon as you can check-in to enjoy everything they have to offer - the delicious meals (including lunch, tea, dinner and of course breakfast with the giraffes). We absolutely loved exploring the beautiful manor and spent time during the afternoon reading a book by the fire. It was truly such a special experience made even better by the exceptional staff that was so kind and made sure everything ran so smoothly. Highly recommend!…
