The Fairview Hotel provided my organization with a full week of conference facilities, hotel rooms and dinner reception. The staff was so kind and flexible with last-minute changes. The location is ideal, since it is close to the airport and transfer from and to the airport was arranged as well.
They hosted my colleagues for a conference. They called to make sure they get the correct number of participants to know the room to book us at. We even postponed the conference to the following day and they did not charge us. very cooperative staff. I would recommend them.
This hotel is a beautiful green haven in the heart of Nairobi city centre. You feel serene and relaxed from the moment you arrive, walking on pretty pathways through tropical plants and giant palm trees. There are several restaurants so you can mix up your meals and there was a huge array of options for breakfast, catering to all cuisines. They also gave me a paper bag and takeaway coffee for the mornings I was rushing out for early meetings. Every member of staff I met was friendly and helpful, I will definitely come here again next time I'm in Nairobi, and would encourage anyone going to stay here.
Has state of the art accommodation and conferencing facilities. The hotel is very beautiful indeed. I loved the meals too. Friendly staff. The guests were satisfied with everything and looked forward to staying at Fairview in the future.
Has the best conference facility in the city. well equiped and condusive working environment with a good ambiance. The meals are the best having variety to choose from. the staff are so friendly and prompt.
The proximity to the CBD is ideal, the conference rooms are of good standards. However the quality of food served at the buffet restaurant did not live up to its expectation. From someone who spends most of the time on business travels, you could tell there was something amiss.
After the security check(s), you arrive to a lovely place, lush and green in the middle of the hubbub and busyness that is Nairobi. It seems a world apart. The grounds are impeccably kept and the service is excellent. There are a few different food restaurant options on site, and the breakfast bar is excellent. We stayed in a separate apartment on the ground floor and near the pool and it was quiet and pleasant. Easy to enjoy!
I had a formal dinner/award presentation at the hotel and the Pango restaurant at Fairview hotel was the perfect location. The dinner set up was amazing and my guests particularly enjoyed the live pasta station and the background music from the pianist Wesley. Thank you Anne, Dennis and the rest of the team for the facilitation. Kavete
I have held two conferences at Fairview Hotel. I would recommend this place for everything. Their staff is amazing at ensuring you have a great experience whether your are a business guest or tourist. An amazing place to hold a conference and feel rejuvenated by the gardens and greenery at the same time. We actually held our event in large tents on one of their lawns, tested folks for COVID every morning and used masks. This is a rarity to find this kind of facility in Nairobi. Their food is healthy and I love that they use recylcable/reusable glass water bottles, that the staff does collect and reuse at the hotel. That saves so much in plastic waste. Even when I am putting on the conference, I feel like I am going on a retreat when I am at the Fairview. So, if even I can feel relaxed while on site, I know that others will have a great time there as a base to catch your safari or conduct other business in Kenya.…
All restaurants and bars are closed except the front restaurant. Breakfast buffet is closed. A la carte breakfast is available (not included). Room service by internet or What’sApp only. My form was “lost” due to “Internet issues” and then filled wrongly. Alcohol is available at the front restaurant, but no “cocktails.” Staff say the hotel is closing for the holidays due to low demand, and then, when asked, say nothing re the actual sale of the property to (apparently) the Intercontinental Hotels chain (intercontinental Nairobi is closed). We have no idea whether our room rate was reduced to reflect all of the above. Would not have booked at the Fairview had we been told. Booking was made by phone locally a couple of weeks before the stay - so the hotel had ample opportunity to inform us of the actual situation. Only a handful of other guests were at the hotel. Depressing.…
