Stayed here for a week and found the mix of location, accommodation, restaurants, service and general atmosphere of the place excellent. The range of dining is unusual and very well pitched and the indoor and garden setting very pleasant.

I have coeliac diesease and can't eat gluten. I wrote to the Fairview in advance but i wasn't expecting such a magnificent response! I am used to being told what I can't have on the menu. In fact, if an establishment knows what gluten is and manages to tell me correctly what to avoid, I'm 'happy.' But Exexutive Chef Mohsine...

Staff was gracious, hotel is clean and well kept, pretty older buildings, nice pool. Good food served at different restaurants all day and evening. Tea, coffee, snacks available from about 6 am to 11 pm, which is great when you are adjusting time zones. Nice pool and gym. They will arrange local tours like to National Park just outside the...

The Fairview grounds are lovely and their customer service is fantastic! I helped to organize a conference and the staff were so helpful. Their attention to detail was unparalleled. The few issues that arose were handled quickly and effectively. The grounds are beautiful and the food is very good. Some of the rooms are small but equipped with everything you...

We stayed are for one night and really enjoyed the atmosphere in this hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was big and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in a colonial room and the buffet was great with beside the traditional food also nice smoothies, 'fresh' honey etc

Hotel is located near embassy and security is very tight which is comforting. The hotel has several good restaurants serving a mix of styles. There are several swimming pools. Rooms are spread over a wide area, some across a road which necessitates using a swipe card to enter, but are secure. Rooms are very large with range of facilities and...

This was the less bang for my buck ever in Nairobi. Room cost USD 180/night, looked like a student dorm room although it had all conveniences and usually hot water with descent water pressure. There was only one tiny bottle of water/day in the room. Breakfast is very good, with a buffet with a wide variety of food that runs...

Our stay at the Fairview was in 2 stages. 3 nights after we arrived in Nairobi, a break of 4 days, followed by a 5 night stay. We received a very warm welcome and a recommendation to go straight to breakfast while our bags were taken to our rooms. This concern for our comfort and convenience was a Hal mark...

The room was very spacious, there was lovely food in the hotel, the gardens were wonderful with a great pool, if you sit outside to eat in the evening there is a fire that they light for you. Shop on site and brilliant security.
