We had the pleasure of staying here one night before we left for our safari in Tanzania. I was surprised how close we were to the airport but it felt like a different world. We arrived late in the evening and Anthony was nice enough to have dinner and drinks prepared for us. We did an early morning drive before...

For those who did not, or do not, want to schlep into the City from either Nairobi Int'l (Njomo Kenyatta) or Wilson Airport - like us - as we flew into Wilson, but did not fly (ex-Nairobi) on the next stage of our Itinerary, until the next morning - this proved a brilliant find, a real surprise, and an absolute...

Thank you very much for your very detailed review! We are desperately trying to improve our wifi which appears to be a challenge - hopefully it will be faster and not quite so intermittent in the next day or so. Once again thank you for taking the time to write this and for coming to stay. Anthony & Emma

This is a lovely lodge run with great enthusiasm by Emma and Anton. We stayed here for 1 night plus a full day prior to our return to the UK. We had a lovely game drive in the evening the day of our arrival and had sundowners with 5 rhino. Also a lovely walk the evening of our departure. The...

A lodge in the heart of Nairobi national park, with fantastic lodging, wonderful food, friendly hosts and incredible ambience. If you're in Nairobi for just a weekend, and want to come close to the animals in Africa, the park has lions, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes and all types of African animals, except for cheetahs and elephants. And Emakoko is a wonderful...

Part of my job entails me to stay in hotels for the large part of my year, but none of the 5* hotels that i have stayed in is comparable to this place! The place is EXACTLY like what you see in the photos, and the lodge offers excellent and personable service, with crazy-good guides that spot animals faster than...

Nairobi National Park is a truly remarkable place. As the city grew rapidly from nothing at the end of the 19th century, this originally wild place is now one of Africa's major cities. But a piece of far-sighted city planning meant that a tract of wilderness has been preserved right next to the skyscrapers, airports and congested traffic, a place...

Tasteful & stylish, a unique setting, huge decadent peaceful rooms, stunning scenery, amazing food, incredible staff & service, lions roaring across the river through the most amazing, indulgent dinner - what's not to love? And in case that wasn't enough to make this my dream stay it's a lodge that has the most fabulous attention to detail & blends into...

The perfect place, set in a wonderful setting and with wonderful hosts. Not to mention the outstanding food. I can't rate this high enough! Some of the rooms are up the side of a cliff, but they are definitely worth the hike!

My daughter (25) and I went there for one night. We had a nice game drive the whole day and ended up at the lodge at around 6 pm. We were met by the hosts at the parking and followed all the way to the lovely cabin by the staff. Everybody, and I really mean every person we met during...
