Wonderful service. The place is very nice and creatively done with different relaxing areas and fantastic service. Quick drive from the capital - 45 minutes - with any kind of car. Rooms spacious and tastefully decorated. Scoot over there for a quick getaway and watch the sunset over good music and ambience.
No welcome drink, poor communication from the receptionist. She lied that there's DSTV in the rooms and constantly lied that she had sent the room mentainance people to come and check it later on to be told there's no connection in the room. they lack basic things like bread and baked beans for breakfast. in the menu very few items are available. no help from the waiters. They take orders, dissaper only for another waiter to come and you start following for your order 1hr later you're told the food you requested is not available. very poor arrangement for the mini bar upselling in the rooms. no prices and that's exposing alcohol to children under 18. the place is just good for taking pictures but the service is very very poor.
Great place for a weekend getaway! On arrival, we were treated to a welcome drink and the check in process was smooth and seamless. We were led to our room which was spacious, clean and spotting a Swahili theme which we loved. The meals and service staff were exceptionally good. Very courteous and helpful. The pool is clean, rooftop lounge area was amazing for sundowners and great photos. The property boasts of beautiful and very well-kept grounds. Shout out to the GM, Priscilla who made our stay memorable. We will definitely be back very soon.
I travelled to Small world to celebrate my birthday. On getting to the room,I found flowers on the bed...first pleasant surprise. The rooms are clean, food is out of this world, service is exceptional with friendly waitresses. The pool is clean.Awesome music as well. There is a bonfire daily at 7pm.There is also a kids play area. I will definitely be back. They sang for my husband happy birthday which was a day after mine.
Visited small world on mombasa road after viewing their beautifully laid instagram page . I arrived and the receptionist was warm and welcoming and proceeded to the pool.Took 30 min to get a table despite their being so many tables that were empty with a reserved card. Once seated I had to wait another 30min if not more to get a waiter who disappeared only to come back after an eternity with the refreshments.Placed food order at 2pm and after numerous complains food arrived on the table at 5PM!!!! We were hungry and the kids had to be soothed with snacks coz it was unbearable. Beautiful facility but the service is wanting ! Rate 1/10
We arrived late around 7pm at this beautiful hiden hotel, and since the moment of our arrival we were welcomed with open arms .We really enjoyed our stay in our cozy deluxe room .The food, they have the best breakfast and other meals on the menu are oj point and big thanks to John Muoka for giving us our best experience and all help we need during our stay. His kind and help in whatever he does and he really knows his job well .John thanks once again.Till we meet next time. We highly recommend this place.
Enjoyed our staycation here, however being our 3rd time at this place, we believe they could offer more activities for adults or in general to keep people busy during the day. There’s potential to offer more given the amount of space within the vicinity. Breakdown review below: We were on B&B so Breakfast buffet review: Theres room for improvement on the buffet, the bacon & liver were hard, potatoes were burnt and baked beans were undercooked. The food items should be clearly marked eg the sausages just said sausages without indicating if its pork/beef or chicken. The buffet also did not have a variety after having breakfast for 2 days you’ll be bored of it on the 3rd. Food from the A la carte menu was nothing short of amazing and fresh. Their pizzas 10/10 would recommend, our favorite the Kuku pizza. In short ordering from the a la carte menu 💯 amazing, they take the time to make it perfect. Room- we stayed in their deluxe room. It’s amazing however they need to be keen on the details… check under the beds, - we had a redbull can that was there from the day we arrived till the next day. Overall stay 6/10 there’s room for improvement in terms of activities during the day and breakfast. We truly enjoyed the food from the a la carte menu.…
Unfortunately the play area is unsafe and very dangerous for kids, particularly the swings. One swing hit my son very close to the eye requiring stitches under anaesthesia. It is a thumbs down for me.
My husband and I opted to getaway for the weekend and choose Small World as the place to do so. The staff were all very friendly , the meals were good and the rooms really comfortable.(great rain showers). Priscilla the manager was always on hand to respond to our queries . We will definately be back to visit again.
