Bet El Kerem guesthouse is gorgeous -- a Nubian-style mansion with the most beautiful rooftop patio we saw in all of Egypt. The views are spectacular. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are so generous and delicious. The hotel is a very short walk from a ferry that will take you across the Nile to central...

Bet el Kerem is only a ten minute ferry ride away from "downtown" Aswan, but when you get off the boat and walk the 100 or so meters to the guesthouse, you feel like you've arrived in a small village. We stayed here for two nights. Our room was clean, large and lovely. We shared a spotless bathroom just a...

Nice & clean hostel with very kind and helpfull staff. Feel at home atmosphere. Delicious homemade breakfast wich you can enjoy on the roofterrace with view on the Nile and the tombs of the noble. If any minor point should be adressed: The hostel is situated on the west bank of the Nile, so you need to take a taxiboot...

The guesthouse is located near the Nile river and overlooking the Tombs of Noble. It also has a spectacular view of Aswan city on the other side of the river. The terrace is very cozy and has amazing views. The breakfast and dinner were very yummy! I wouldn't think of eating elsewhere. Abdel is such a very warm and gracious host!...

The guesthouse is in a quiet place about five minutes from the ferry across the river; so it is easy to get to and it is easy to get to and from Aswan. It is also about twenty minutes from the airport. It is a five-minute walk to the tombs, and you can easily get a camel to take you...

The owner is a very helpful man, with amazing sense of hospitality. Food was excellent. We enjoyed the camel ride which took us on the Aga Khan mausoleum,...

Everything was perfect! It is located in the Nubian village in a quiet area. Good to rest after a day to explore Aswan or Abu Simbel. Owner and whole team is so kind and warm. You straightaway feel at home. The view on the rooftop is great. You have the Nile on one side and the mountains on the other....

I had stayed 3 nights in this guest house and I'd like to tell my true story: Actually my purse was stolen by an Irish old man whose name is Niall Whelan, 53 years old at the time of writing (I managed to took him to tourism police station and accused him for his terrible wrong doing, the trial was...

This has by far been the best part of our trip to Egypt. Staying outside bustling Aswan with easy access has been perfect. Eating breakfast on the roof with a view of the Nile and local ruins would have been amazing on its own; however, Abdullah the owner was an amazing host who went above all we could have asked....

Cannot say enough about the hospitality of this place. Very welcoming and constantly ensuring you are comfortable. Delicious breakfast, and complimentary drinks and fruit available 24x7. Great, peaceful location on the Nubia side, and at the same time only 10-15 minutes to center of town via walk + ferry ride. Also a good place to meet other travellers. They can...
