The hotel was very bad and I wouldn't advise any one to go there the air condition doesn't work and it haven't remote control and also television and more importantly, that the bathroom is very very tight you can't sit in it and smell the room and the hotel unbearable

Awful dark and dingy hotel, room was dirty and smelt like a pack of Tom cats had pee'd all over the place. Dirty sheets with holes in them, were grateful to have sleeping bag liners etc to sleep in. Our toilet kept running, asked for this to be fixed - a man came and looked, said he would return in...

We ended up in this hotel, because we were approached by someone in the train station asking if we wanted a taxi. He turned out to be our tout. When we got to our first choice in hotel, it was closed for refurbishment (probably closed until the tourists start coming back). We were shown a triple room, but when I...

Chap at reception was friendly enough, thats about as good as it got. Rooms are dirty, sheets never washed, cockroaches around the place aswell. AVoid at all costs, go to the keylany instead, much better value.

I stayed there for one night, and it turned out to be my worst memory of travelling ever in my life time. While I was outside touring, I left all of my money in my bag at my room, and when I came back I found that all of my money were gone. I found out the fact at night...

I spent two nights at the Paradise hotel and don't plan on going back there ever again. I am definitely not looking for luxuries when I book a hotel, but I would like it to be clean at least. My room at the Paradise Hotel seems to not have been cleaned in ages - there were cigarette butts on the...

Very basic. Showers flooded - but did have hot water. Breakfast requested not required on day of trip to Abu Simbel but we had to pay for it anyway! Rooms mostly clean but dark. Must be better places to stay in Aswan.

Pros: It was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, there was a fridge and a tv with satellite channels, it's close to shops, restaurants, a doble room with breakfast included was 120EP (16 euros) and we leaved our luggage in the reception while we went to Abu Simbel and when we came back there it was safe and sound. Con:...

The Paradise is a budget hotel, very close to the station at the beginning of the pedestrianised souk. This would create problems if you are disabled as taxis are not able to reach the entrance to the hotel, but a good driver should help you. The hotel itself seems to be in the middle of a refurbishment and the entrance...
