More : this hotel has a very good location, not far from Egyptian Museum ; Mac Donald and Pizza Hut are almost at the corner. Rooms are clean and big enough for a familly ; bathtube has stains. Excellent reception staff, nice. Great breakfast with a large variety of hot meals, cookies, fruits, cereals... Balcony, nice view on a small...

My friend and I went to use the pool at the Safir hotel. Ten minutes into our stay we noticed a man from a balcony above the pool staring at us and masturbating, while another one, in a separate room made sexually explicit gestures and gestured us to come up. We informed the management right away. They apologised profoundly but...

Our family of 4 adults stayed at Safir Dokki Giza in February 2012. Excellent ! The hotel was clean and elegant and a pleasure to come back to after a days sightseeing. The rooms were comfortable Food was good. The senior management all spoke excellent english and were very helpful. The only drawback was that most junior waiting staff speak...

Although I usually prefer to stay away from local properties in the MENA region, with the exception of Jumeirah, this was surprisingly a pleasant hotel. Besides the perfect location, the room was nice and quite modern with a flat-screen TV and great bathroom (products). And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the ones in the cafe where you...

Having stayed 2 nights at the Safir Hotel in Dokki, I liked the executive room I was in, the cleanliness of the room and the amenities in the room. I disliked the 150 EGP pr. day charge for using internet in the room, which is also the reason I transferred to another hotel. Free internet is available at the 2...

This is our alternative hotel to Shepheards when visiting Cairo. The rooms are excellent and the buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner is more than adequate. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Any small matter with the room is retified immediately. (On one occasion we were given a room that had 2 singles and not a...

Good points: friendly staff, a welcome drink on arrival, reasonable prices, very comfy beds. I had some very good sleep due to how comfortable the beds were. On the downside: expensive and unreliable wifi (especially unreliable in the downstairs conference rooms). There is free wifi available in the cafe, but it wasn't suitable for when I was working. Some service...
