We stayed here for 2 nights before heading to the South of Egypt. This hotel is well placed for the pyramids & Sphinx (the clue is in the name really!) which meant we were only 10 minutes drive to the sound and light show at the Pyramids on the evening. Very welcome short trip as we had an exhusting day...

Knowing that the hotel was once a Sofitel maybe raised my expectations too high....the hotel is in a good location, very close to the pyramids. Staff are ok but lacked the attention and charisma as experienced at the Ramses Hilton. Rooms not bad but very basic. The hotel offers an excellent cafe and the rooftop restaurant for dinner was superb....

Unprepossessing exterior but great inside and just 2 kms from the pyramids. Stayed 2 nights at the beginning and one night at the end. Got a room with a pyramid view at the latter. Great service from really polite and helpful staff. Good food of all types. Spacious public areas. I found the Omar Khayamm local red wine to be...

We stayed here for 4 nights in February 2012 on half board in a pyramid view room. We had a great view of the pyramids but as some other people have said, the traffic is very noisy and can keep you awake. There is a wide choice of food at breakfast and dinner, the food at dinner is particularly good...

We had three nights staying at this hotel in April 2011. We found the staff to be helpful and the food was good. The swimming pool looked great and it was really refreshing after spending a day out seeing the amazing local attractions. Given the state of the economy especially in Europe where most of the tourists come from, it...

We stayed at the Cairo Le Sphinx from 19-23 Dec 2011. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived at night so we couldn't tell if our room had a pyramid view until the next morning. Overall it was alright. Very poor service. Staff couldn't speak English, so had a bit of poor communication the duration of our stay. Not a very brilliant location as it's far away from town and landmarks.
