We stayed here for 3 days at the end of our Egypt trip, when we wanted to see things in Cairo proper, rather than pyramids etc (we stayed in Giza at start of trip). This was a reasonable downtown budget hotel. Not great, not awful. Location was great, with good food nearby (Kazaz Restaurant) and able to walk to Museum,...

Lovely staff and nice twin brothers Tamer and Walid. A really great place to feel home and comfortable. friendly. Also one gets a good work out climbing stairs. the greatest about Paris hotel is one gets to interact with other guests if desired

We started our Egypt travel in Cairo, arriving very late in the night. A taxi pickup was arranged via the hotel, which is something I would recommend as the place could be hard to find. Taxi was not free though, as suggested by the summary here(but the price was correct, 100LE). Climbing up the stairs may give you a slight...

The rooms are nicely decorated and colored. That made me feel comfortable directly. All the hotel is very clean but not impersonal. The staff is really nice and can help with a lot of things such as organising a tour guide or giving some advices of the places to visit. Also, there is not too much noise during the night...

Simple nice central no fussy place to stay few days in Cairo. The owner makes your stay easier and very helpful. This pension is in an old aristocratic building. A nice travel in the nostalgic past....

I wish mokhtar and saad are my brothers they are kind and accomodating always offering coffee or tea. Walid is an exceptional host, he shared food with us over a nice conversation. I felt at home and was really sad to leave. He made our stay in cairo really pleasant. We took their tour as well and was well taken...

The location is the best quality of this hostel. TripAdvisor calls it Paris Hotel but it is a hostel in central Cairo. At arrival, you will think you were punked. The entrance is terrible and the elevator does not operate. But, if you do not have mobility issues, you can climb to the 3rd floor. The hostel is clean and...
