Clean hotel room, loud AC. Average staff, breakfeast could have been better. We reccomend ordering a airport pickup, the taxis do not have meters and it took our driver about an extra half an hour finding the hotel. Nice restaurant across the street and supermarket and ATM near by.

This hotel has seen it's glory days. Dated, tired, old located on a fairly quiet street, a little out of the way. Staff are somewhat helpful if there isn't a football game on TV. Breakfast was supposed to start at seven, but no one around. Coffee appeared later, and milk for the coffee somewhat after. Selection was poor. You can...

This hotel felt very basic. The rooms were just about adequate with noisy air con. The room was clean and the breakfast was alright, nothing exciting. The desk staff could have been friendlier at times. The location is quiet but a little out of the way. Overall, it was fine for one or two nights.

I stayed here for 3 days for a work event. The hotel is clean and basic. It's in a better part of Cairo and close to the Nile. Don't expect great views. There is nothing much to see around. The hotel has a decent restaurant but the cafe across the street has good food and drinks (non alcoholic). There are...

Stayed at hotel Santana twice as part of a tour. This hotel does not have free wifi and charges 15 EGP per hour - paid and does not work - got money back. Comes with free buffet breakfast which include a number of different options. Front desk staff cannot speak English and appear to not understand what customer service is....

I stayed at Santana Hotel on two occasions, some two weeks apart, as part of a tour. On the first occasion there were very few other guests and this was reflected in the very poor service standard, particularly the breakfast buffet, which I would struggle to even call average. Dirty crockery, cold coffee and awful food. The room was adequate,...

I am a voracious traveller yet i rarely write reviews. I am probably realizing how helpful reviews can be only now as I write this about Santana hotel. I am a solo woman traveller and as most people who have written the reviews, i went to Egypt with Gadventures and ended up here. I am not a luxury hotel person,...

stayed here when i arrived to start my G Adventures tour. It wasn't that bad, there were some stores down the road where you can buy food and the breakfast at the hotel was pretty good. but you have to pay for the WiFi. see my blog at candysglobetrottinadventures.com

I did a tour with G adventures and good thing they gave us the upgraded room. Felt clean and didnt have to use sandals in the shower which is always a plus! I did a post night when we arrived back into Cairo and I got to see what the original rooms looked like. Outdated, old, and dirty. We had...

Stayed here as part of a tour with G Adventures. Staff was nice, rooms were decent, good breakfast. Wifi in lobby that you paid for or got for free by buying something in the cafe. Can't comment too much on the location though as I had no idea where I was.
