Nice hotel and staff are friendly, they prepare private car to pick me up and take me to the airport all the time I need. Hotel is cozy and clean, wifi is work perfectly, easy to find food near the hotel and walk around downtown. I will come back to stay here again :)

The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom is a shower/bath which is rare. Overall the hotel is fine but the staff is what makes it great. After a little mishap when we arrived with the booking, they offered is another night at a discount. After we left for a week and came back, Hussien remembered my birthday occured while...

We came to the hotel the day we landed in Cairo. It was after 9pm and we were exhausted. I had made a reservation. When we arrive, we are asked to sit down. Didn't receive much of a welcome. Half an hour later, the person at the desk starts hounding us with the hotel tour packages/offers. I politely decline and...

Grand hotel royal This is the worst hotel I think I have ever seen in my life. The room was disgusting there were some sort of little creatures on the bed I think they were fleas or some unknown creatures. The pillows stunk like someone died. The room had just been sprayed with some sort of fly spray a industrial...

The place is just dirty. It is more like a low-end hostel than a hotel. Everything will strike you as slapdash. The amenities are very minimal, but they do offer affordable service for pyramid tour and transportation. The people are great, but the facility needs a major overhaul.

They recommend the places that you should go in Cairo or some good plans. You better ask them if you don't have any plan. They...

I stayed for a night in Hotel Grand Royal. Its basically an old building/apartment with one floor being run as hotel. The room were fine, however surprisingly the washrooms were literally located within the room which was shocking. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating though and the hotel is located centrally and is walking distance from Cairo Museum....

Grand Royal offers budget accommodation which is very friendly, safe and comfortable. The hotel is in a handy location to the museum and the lovely old buildings in this area, the hotel housed in one of them. We had a room with a balcony but the Cairo constant "tooting" on this square is audible most of the time, not sure...
