I arrived to this hostel and once I arrived I was greeted by Mohammad and his massive smile. I was tired and dirty and all I wanted to do was sort out what was the best way to see Egypt as I had limited days there and had not planned anything prior. I got told to have a shower and...

On the busy downtown street of Talat Harb. Not easy to find, but we were picked up from the airport for free. Stayed in a triple ensuite as travelling with 2 kids. Very clean place. Friendly staff, good internet, central location. Basic accommodation but really good value for money. Simple continental breakfast. Approach to the hostel through a charming old...

Simple clean room, nice staff, pickup from the airport very convenient. Avoid to ask for information though, they generally push for expensive solutions (for example, they told us the metro was not the right way to travel, however it became our favorite mean of transportation in the city).

If you haven't read the book or seen the movie, doing so will add so much to your stay here. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help, even exchanging money for us when everything was closed during Eid. This is a converted flat so you can hear everything, but with earplugs we slept soundly. The location is...

I had such an amazing time at the hostel. Mohammad was a wonderful host, he brought me out for tea, gave great advice about what to do in Cairo and provided all tour information. I travelled alone and was a bit aprehensive but felt at home with everyone at the hostel. Another Mohammad was my driver, he was great!! He...

Stayed here in June 2012 for a little more than a week in a private room (but by myself). First, the biggest benefit of this hostel is the incredible staff--so friendly and so helpful, and as a solo female traveler, I didn't feel unsafe at all. Beds are comfortable and rooms are exactly as pictured in any official pictures. Had...

Convient location to go everywhere and it's also closed to the Egypt museum. Good services including organizing tours around Egypt and offering airport pick up. All the stuff here are kind and friendly. They helped me have a better and deeper understanding about the country. It must be the same place that I would choose to stay when I visit...

We stayed at this hostel twice starting with Dec. 19-22, 2012. Everything went well as their driver came to pick us up at the airport, a box of candy waiting for us in our room (nice touch) and great help with tours. However, things unraveled with our second stay during Dec. 31, 2012 - Jan. 05, 2013. On arrival we...
