I have been visiting Cairo for some years and always stay in the Luna, once for 6 weeks! I have never had a problem of any kind, nor have any friends that have stayed there. The staff and management are professional, friendly and helpful. Booking and transport always spot-on.The location great for going out and exploring this amazing city. It...

Room was good, at the back it was quiet, mine had a balcony. It's clean and the staff are nice. The entrance to the building is a bit grotty but once out of the lift upstairs everything was fine. Breakfast is standard. Trip to the airport was 75EGP.

vivid cairo , this little hotel is like an oasis in the desert. The staff is very kind and always ready to answer to all your questions. We went there after the second revolution in Egypt, on 5th september 2013 but we felt very safe. From there you can reach by feet the Egyptian Museum in tahrir square and also...

I stayed at the Bella Luna Hotel for 3 nights, it is very good value for money and the cleanliness and facilities are good for a budget hotel. The staff are friendly but not too in your face or pushy- they will help you arrange tours if thats what you want (we opted to sort our own stuff out) and...

Breakfast: the staff didn't tell me there are two options for breakfast but served me with literally three small loafs of COLD bread, one boiled egg and a cup of tea. Service: some of the staff speaks very limited English. Those who speak good English told me off that I should not ask for good service as they are not...

This hotel is a total surprise. One would think that it is going to be a total dump judging by the entrance to the building and the elevator. Once you get to your room on the third floor (after checking in on the fifth floor) you are pleasantly surprised by newly renovated rooms that are secure and clean. The staff...

Rajeev's review is spot on. I did not have quite so horrendous an experience, but I must say that I negotiated a tour of the pyramids through H. Moussa (part owner) that was less than, how should I say, usual. Originally priced at 100 Egyptian pounds, he tried to scrounge for 50 more. When I protested via email, he relented....

I have to say, when we first arrive it was 3 am in the morning, nobody on the streets. So, my first impression of the building and the creepy elevator wasn't so cool. Once you get used to a doorless elevator, it's OK. Rooms are lovely, recently painted, very clean. We stayed in the 3rd floor, where most rooms have...

I stayed at Bella Luna for four nights. I decided to stay there because it was recommended to me by a coworker who had stayed at Hotel Luna (which is on the 5th floor in the same building) and I felt that the price was good. I was also attracted by the idea that it would be a non-smoking environment...

Beware of the manager who actually is the owner of this twin property - Luna & Bella Luna. We spent two nights on Feb 17/18th, 2012 instead of the 4 planned because we were cheated by the manager/owner Hany. We had chosen this hotel after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor since our first choice Longchamps was not available, but...
