Simple but clean and comfortable, I would recommend Wake Up to anyone looking for a cheap hostel in Downtown Cairo. Of course it's not the Ritz but it does the job. The comfy common area has views of the Nile and the Cairo tower and from our room we could see the Citadel and the Muhammad Ali Mosque! Not bad... More

Highly recommend hostel right downtown in Cairo, next to the Egyptian museum and very close to the Nile! Some cheap and good restaurants are close, the bus station is close and it's easy to reach though the metro! The people who work here are very friendly and helpful and the beds are comfortable, even in the dorm (normal beds, no... More

The location is right in the center of Cairo, and the view on the nile and City aswell is amazing, maybe the best you"ll find in Cairos hostels! Wifi is in every... More

I stayed here today, for a day. This Place Is Clean. I mean everyone here they say they are clean, but these guys are . I like how there is a fridge and new washing machine in the hallway, the tiny kitchen , all felt like a house. The common area in the corner, with tv and nice setting, overlook... More

I booked accommodation at this hostel based on the high ratings, but I'm really not sure why the ratings are so high. I would describe the stay as average due to the level of service from the staff. The wifi was fast and the room was clean, and the location was great. Despite all the car horns honking into the... More

*We stayed in a room with private bathroom. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. Hot shower and a clean bathroom. *The staff members, especially Hassan and Sherif, are funny, friendly and helpful and can also show you around or arrange a tour for you. I would recommend to book a guided tour in Cairo if it... More

We were looking at budget places an I saw good reviews for this place. The staff were nice, it's very close to Abou Tarek kushari and a good and cheap feteer (Egyptian pizza) and liquor store so it was very convenient. We weren't pressured to do tours. We had a private room with shower on the 10th floor which was... More

The location of this hostel is in the center of the city and just walking distance to the Egyptian Museum. The space of the 7 dorms is too small, It would be good idea if they put only 4 beds so that the customers have a space for their Travel bags. The staff were helpful for any information. Breakfast was... More

Small but comfortable and clean hostel in a convenient location. Have a number of different room options at a great value. Walking distance to Museum and Nile. Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Can help you to arrange cars and tours or tell you how to best handle things on your own. Also, the people in Cairo are some of... More
